We recently connected with Christian Smith and have shared our conversation below.

Christian, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

Sackchasin Apparel came about in late 2020, It started off as me exploring different creative ideas. Once I started getting more comfortable & learning different aspects of the industry. I started to release my ideas to the public when I noticed a lot of positive feedback when it started getting more serious about my work.

Christian, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Hello I’m Christian Smith owner of Sackchasin Apparel it is a Black Owned online streetwear brand based out of Atlanta, GA. I first introduced myself to the clothing industry in 2020. When I first started clothing it was all just for fun, starting I watched YouTube videos to teach myself everyday how to do different things and still do. Once I started learning things step by step I started getting more focused and taking it seriously. I do run a E-Commerce store online and I offer customs on anything heat press related.

I think what sets me apart from others is that my designs are organic and not designed based on what trend is in style. Every design is made from scratch and usually done in about a week or less. Something I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come and so much I’ve learned in the past couple of years. I appreciate the lessons everyday and I wish nothing but success to come out of this.

Some things that I am looking forward to in this journey is to learn more than what I already know. I want to get more comfortable with the work I’m putting out.& i’m excited to make new relations and show the world what’s in store for 2023.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

I personally think social media is one of the best ways you can discover new interactions. A good source for new clients is Tik Tok and instagram reels. Both are great stepping stones for increasing exposure.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

If you want to manage a team and keep a good team you have to get to know your people first. Once you establish a relationship with your team everything else will fall in line.
