Alright, Robbie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The mission of Sea Moss by RJ is “Everyone is deserving of good health.” We are committed to spreading awareness, and inspiring, creating, and fostering a community that supports healthy lifestyle choices. We will get you started or keep you going on your journey to a healthy lifestyle.
Robbie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We started our sea moss journey by wanting to help alleviate RJ’s asthma symptoms such as wheezing and mucus build-up. When I started giving him sea moss gel he no longer had asthma flairs. As a result of consuming sea moss daily, RJ no longer needed to use his inhaler and his eczema started to clear up. I also started to use sea moss to aid in my weightless journey after suffering from pre-eclampsia. It helped boost my metabolism, increase my energy, and was great for my post-workout recovery. After seeing how sea moss changed our lives, we knew we had to share the benefits of sea moss with others. Then boom, Sea Moss by RJ was created. It was just too good to keep a secret. Sea Moss by RJ is wildcrafted from St. Lucia, Jamaica. Sea moss has abundant benefits that include boosting immunity during cold and flu season and is rich in Vitamin C, amino acids and antioxidants.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
We built our social media presence through grassroots. We started out vending at local pop-up shops, a temporary storefront, in Atlanta, GA. It gave us the opportunity to build connections with existing customers in a brief, informal way. With each customer that stopped past our booth, we would ask them to follow our social media page and offer them a discount for tagging us on social media using our product. We found out where our audience hung out on social media, and learned about that platform, and made content that attracted the followers. Advice for others post consistently and engage with your audience frequently.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What helped build our reputation in our market is our grassroots marketing. We wear our brand every day and keep flyers on hand. Going to the gas station, cleaners, or grocery store, we always wear Sea Moss By RJ apparel. The goal is to turn everyone we interact with into potential customers.
