Hi Ariana, thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I hear people all the time talk about how they would like to travel, I was actually one of those people. On Facebook, I saw a former teacher from high school going so many places and posting some really good deals. I was at a place in my life where I want to hustle and create as much wealth as I can. I’m a firm believer of working harder now so that when I get older I can have the lifestyle I dream of. Seeing this former teacher thriving off of a side hustle and travelling from it as well made me reach out to her for more information. I never gave much thought to being a travel agent and after speaking to her, I wondered why hadn’t I thought of the idea sooner!
I’ve never owned a business prior to starting Finer Life Travel. I use my experiences as a customer to help build a business and brand that will always work for the client over personal gain. As a travel agent, I knew I wanted to provide a service that truly takes away the stress of booking trips. I aim to show clients that they too can see those beautiful destinations in person without breaking the bank. I like to show that my clients can Enjoy the Finer Things in Life with the proper planning for the perfect vacation. The name and motto for my business came precisely from my one wish as a travel agent, to show clients how to enjoy the finer things in life through travel.


Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a young travel agent looking to provide my clients with quality vacation and tour experiences. My goal is to show my clients how to enjoy the finer things in life through travel. I can book vacation packages, event tickets, tours, vacation homes, cabins, villas, theme park packages, cruises, and more. I take the stress out of planning a vacation. As a client, I offer you a free consultation service to help figure out your dream destination. This can be done via phone or zoom where we are discussing your travel ideas and coming up with a destination. If you already have a place in mind, then clients can submit a travel inquiry and research fee to receive a list of quotes for their vacation within 48 hours. Once you are ready to book, the research fee is applied to your booking. What sets me apart from others in the business is my love to educate people about travel. I want to make sure my clients know as much as they can about travel and tips that will help them make the most of their vacation.



We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my social media presence by using both professional pages and my personal social media accounts. I am nowhere near where I would like to be with my social media presence, but I use my personal page to help reach a larger audience until my business accounts have a stronger social media presence on their own. Creating a social media presence in today’s society is no joke! There’s millions of content creators who profit beautifully from social media and the goal is to create something that can catch the audiences eye among a sea of other creators who may have the same intentions. I try to make my content as informational as I can while still making the content eye catching. Travel itself is a beautiful product, but when it comes to posting a package on my business page, I want to catch your eye and also tell you the information that will pique your interest. I’ve slowly changed my format for posting package deals and I see a better engagement response. While this part of my business is the most challenging starting off, I’m excited to see myself moving in a positive direction with more opportunities to get myself and my business out to more people.
Consistency is what keeps me going with building my following. I have days were my business insights have been amazing and I’ve had other days that have made me question everything. For any new business owners out there or those looking to start a business, please know that these bad days happen and consistency is going to be the only way to push through and navigate social media as a business owner. Alot of it is trial and error and the best way to get through it for me is to focus on the great moments and learn from the bad ones.



Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has come from a mix of different things. I have had a lot of people find either my business page or personal page to message me about deals that I’ve posted. I also have supporters of my business who also share my content to their pages and stories which expands my reach to more people. The most rewarding feeling is when I hear from a potential client that I do not know personally. Hearing from clients that are complete strangers makes me happy because it lets me know that despite not having the largest following as a new business, that I am expanding my reach and growing as a business. Social media is free marketing and has now become profitable with the correct engagement and content. I plan to focus more and more on my social media presence to build my business and meet more clients who are ready for an amazing vacation!
