Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Darryl Wynn. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Darryl, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

When I was 5 years old, I began to sing in church. Then I began to play piano at age 12. It was during that time that I knew I wanted to be a professional singer. God has blessed me with some amazing opportunities that have been shaping me as I experience the journey..

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am Darryl. I was born in New York, raised in Northwestern Florida. I grew up singing in the choir since age 5. At the age of 12, I begin to play the piano. I’ve grown to love music and I aspire to be a Professional Music Artist. That’s been my dream for years.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The best part and my favorite part of being a creative is the ability to express exactly what you feel by way of lyrics and musical melodies.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Well, I’d have to say my relocation to Georgia in 2016. When I moved here, so much in my life was going downhill. From broken relationships to terrible mistakes made, I moved during one of the most difficult times of my life. However, giving up was never an option. Neither was quitting. I kept going until times got better.
