We recently connected with Ron Evans and have shared our conversation below.
Ron, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew that I wanted to pursue an artistic path about the age 10. Drawing was the first artistic talent I discovered. Being drawn to anime, preferably Dragon Ball Z or action/fighting like characters. I enjoyed bringing to life and exploring those charters outside of television. I enjoyed them so much that I wanted to become an Animator at that point in life.
As a kid, drawing was my creative outlet. Drawing was my escape. Drawing was also a way I connected to other artistic kids like myself.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a Michigander, born and raised in the small town of Benton Harbor, who had bigger dreams that far surpassed the region I was born in. In spite of the matter, I stayed connected to the arts through tv. Constantly being inspired by fashion magazines, reality tv competition shows, and scripted tv. Those factors steered me in the direction of fine art, fashion, film, and, entertainment.
Moving out of the Midwest in 2017 to Atlanta, for Georgia State University and overall growth, opened me up to many opportunities to explore within art and film. Not only did that move put me in position to grow, but it put me amongst other likeminded individuals who are doing and striving towards the same goals as I.
At the time, I was more focused on photography, fashion, and fine art. As of today, my focus is heavily based in the film world, with acting, script writing, directing, tv hosting, etc. And honestly, my hearts sings a bit louder in the film realm.
Today I am heavily working as an Artist/Entertainer, that’s working on many film productions in/around Atlanta, Meanwhile, also creating my own short films and social media content on TikTok and on my YouTube vlog.
What sets me apart from the pack is, my passion and drive! I have my loved ones to thank for that. Coming from a place of poverty in the Midwest, I don’t ever want to go back to that, or see my family go back to that for that matter. Therefore. I must go hard, and continue to break generational curses as go.
The thing I’m most proud of today is, the leap of faith that I took to move to Atlanta, and being the first in my immediate family to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is to inspire and touch the world. With that mission, I am confident that that will provide a better life for my loved ones, myself, and the people around me.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an Artist is, to tell stories, to inspire people, to help heal people, and to entertain people.
