Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Benjetta Steele. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Benjetta, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

I worked long 12 hour shifts in the medical field for years. It was a great place to work until the pandemic came… My mindset started to shift. I’ve always loved helping other people, so I decided to start my own hair business part time. My mission is to build my own empire, so that one day I could retire. By the end of my first year working for myself, I made a plan and started to achieve all my goals. By Jan 2022 I started my second business as a Business Consultant. I felt that a lot of my community suffered from poverty, lack of knowledge and growth. I came up with a plan to help my community be more financially stable and to offer proper information and structure. I also hired a coach to help guide me along my journey. That helped me move faster in my process, which is molding me to be a more successful woman. I love helping people and my biggest mission is to serve my community in anyway possible, but also help them to achieve success. My business allows clients to fix their credit reports, build their credit, start their own business, help them get business credit and funding to grow their own successful business! I want to serve my purpose on earth to help others be Better!

Benjetta, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hi my name is Benjetta Steele. I’m originally born in Los Angeles California . I’m currently residing in Durham North Carolina. I’m a mother of 2 teenage young men, I’ve worked in the medical field half of my life, since I was 16 years old. I completed courses for Business in Management. I then received certifications such as my childcare license, Nursing care license, Natural Hair care license and credit repair certification. I love helping my community. In the year of 2020 I decided to make a career change from Nursing to Business Entrepreneurship as CEO of Mother of Motivation llc and Bossladi Braids. Business Ownership has always been my passion! I then took many online courses and started my own credit repair company! I started off with learning how to fix my family and friends credit. The company started to see great results. So I then came up with more resolution to expand the services to my clients and future clients, by helping them build their personal credit and generate more passive income. The ultimate goal is to help my community over come financial debt and understand financial literacy.

My process has not been easy but I discipline myself to stay consistent and dedicated to growing my company and businesses. I want to help others to Repair, Rebuild, Restart and Invest! The most important factors in life is to make a better life for yourself and Invest smartly to create generation wealth. I help individuals based on their individual needs and goals. Every client has a different journey based on their needs and wants! I then help each client restore their personal credit, Rebuild with positive Trade lines/lines of credit, reinvest into passive income to start a side business to help them generate more income to reinvest.

Most of my clients have serious goal that they are trying to accomplish. So I Guide all my clients into the right direction whether they are just starting out or needing coaching on the next steps in their process. I love to teach based on my own testimonies of my process as a home buyer, a single mother, starting a business by yourself, investing wisely, and growing every step of the way! Its so many important key factors to living life and Investing wisely to create generation wealth. I also love helping others because it brings me great people, wonderful clients and long term bonds and relationships. We have to come together more in order to grow and that all I know and teach!

I want to see everyone win no matter the circumstances. The right knowledge is critical to our future and over all growth. Having great credit can put you in positions money can’t, Building stronger bonds with lenders and banks can allow more access to capital, Reinvesting can allow you more financial freedom. Lets start more businesses and build business credit to obtain funds to grow and reinvest into our companies! And repeat! That’s how we all win and become successful.

I am most thankful and proud of the support that I have gotten from clients all over the world! I’m thankful for my community and leadership from my mentors @Him500, @Ellietalkmoney and more influences! God has shown me a plan and I’m here to follow his lead. He has put some powerful people in my life this year alone and I will learn, grow, teach and develop new tools and resources for my clients and future clients!

I will continue to elevate my passion and grow my business to help others create more for their future, to properly prepare for home buying and more. I will teach my clients how to start and structure their business to generate more revenue to reinvest and save. Proper guidance and coaching can save us time in our journey. I’m so thankful for my coaches, for properly guiding me thru my journey, so that I can guide others thru their journey.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I remember when I first started my business, I didn’t know what I was doing… I came up with a plan and I did my research. I never wanted to invest more money than I had so I always thought of ways to help me solve the problems without investing a lot of money. So what I did was found a mentor in my industry who could help me grow. I would watch his lives and do everything he told me to do with my credit. After a few months I saw excellent results so, I then started to build bonds with different banks and lenders to generate funds to leverage my business. I then structure my business and started building business credit, once I established business credit, it allowed me more than enough funds to get my business started and going. I partnered with a company that had every funnel system I needed to run my company. I had to start out by using my loved ones who had negative items on their credit and see what results I could get. After about 2 months I started to see great results and credit increases. I then began to extend my services to my community. I also offered more services to help my clients rebuild after fixing their credit. That’s when business started to pick up. We need good credit for everything. So I then started to educate my community of financial literacy. I love to teach what we did not learn in school. The knowledge we need to survive in the real world is not taught in our education system. So its my duty in my community to spread the knowledge as much as possible.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

One of my main lessons that I had to learn as a business owner is to separate personal and business relations. Personal is personal and Business is business, you should never mix the 2. A lot of times its hard to do that when first starting out because you are the brand, but if you create a separate business page on your social platforms, it can help separate your targeted audience. Most times your family and friends want understand your new business venture so don’t get too overwhelmed if they don’t support you. That was my hardest part in my first year as a business owner. People around you might not see your vision but keep going and inspiring others and support will come from all over. I now coach clients from all over the world. I’m truly thankful for life lessons and growth!
