We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Quatisha Zeigler a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Quatisha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Hello My name Quatisha Zeigler Publicly known as ShayZ owner of ShayZ & Co., LLC. We are a credit repair company who is on a mission to provide top quality services to help others improve their credit. We use spiritual principles to guide our mission and vision. ShayZ & Co, LLC started non-professionally in 2020. I helped close friends and family members improve their credit through using the laws and disputing inaccuracies. I had such great success that I decided to take formal training and start my business professionally in October of 2021.
I’ve been a Professional Consultant since 2013. I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with a purpose, and always striving for significant outcomes. When you work with me you should expect a collaboration with transparency and consistency.

Quatisha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am passionate about credit restoration, serial entrepreneurship, and being a servant leader. In addition to my many accolades, I’m a mother of two (2) beautiful and well-developed children. I create opportunities for other individuals to attain financial freedom in becoming prosperous in generational wealth. I strived for success even at a young age therefore, I’m no stranger to financial lack. I was not born with the proverbial silver spoon in my mouth so I know what it’s like to hunger for improvement. I have worked over fifteen (15) years in the medical field. I started out as a Medical Assistant, then Billing and Coding, Phlebotomy, Laboratory Assistant, Laboratory Director and is now currently working in Drug Research. I received my Bachelor’s in Business Administration at Faulkner University. In addition, I attended the Cornell University Women’s Entrepreneurship Program and have been trained and mentored by my industry top leaders. Some of my top affiliates include Dashanay Coleman from the VIP Boss Academy, Shonda Martin from The Creditversity, Ashley Massengill-Grayson, Marcus Barney Recession Proof, Daraine Delevante The Consumer Law Secrets University, Lakeya Allen from Mentoring with Key, Kenneth Noland from The Funding Goat, and Shan Washington Resurgent Tax Service. I am also a Certified Servsafe Instructor and Proctor, American Red Cross Instructor & American Heart Association Instructor, Trained Personal Finance Coach,Board Certified Credit Consultant, Certified Credit Score Consultant, FCRA Certified, FDCPA Certified, Member of American Society of Notaries, Member and Ambassador of Montgomery Chamber of Commerce. I was recently locally recognized and awarded as The Best of 2022 Montgomery Consultants.
I’m the CEO of three (3) successful companies. First, Q Communications, a virtual call center where I have staffed customer service agents to work independently from home for various fortune 500 companies since 2013. Secondly, ShayZ & Co., The Mother Company for my Credit Repair, Tax Preparation, and Training Solutions. Finally, I am also the co-owner of Exotic Lounge of Montgomery with my husband Mr. Travis Zeigler.
In my opinion, I am a successful example on what it means to be a “Black Woman in Business and Entrepreneurship. As a way to continuously give back to my community, I conduct seminars, classes and even one-on-one coaching sessions to pass my knowledge of opportunities on to others. I focus mainly on my mission to “Practice what I Preach”. I believe that with the right information, guidance, dedication, and determination, anyone can achieve financial independence.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Once I figured out my target audience, I was quickly able to find my niche. Which were small business owners and inspiring entrepreneurs looking to start, grow, or fund their business. I immediately started interacting with them and made myself available for them. I started conducting live streams providing Free Business Structure, Funding, and Credit tips. I always engage with all my followers and respond as promptly as possible, providing the most valuable knowledge to address their concerns. I do however believe that being Consist is key when it comes to social media! That’s a lesson I have learned along the way.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I have very high integrity when it comes to my businesses. I am also very personable when it comes to my clients so that they get the authentic me and people love that most about me! Generally, most of my clients and customers advertise for me at no cost. This is normally done using social media platforms and word of mouth as they speak on their results or experiences after trusting me to assist them. I love meeting new people and believe that networking is crucial to a successful business journey.
