We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Eugene Valle. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Eugene below.
Hi Eugene, thanks for joining us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
I feel like even though we are a resell shop we are very retail oriented. We put a lot of focus on our home brand, allow people to come in & get free legit checks or even just providing a safe space for others to conduct deals. Before the pandemic we would throw free events for people to just come out & have a good time, we plan on picking that back up very soon.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
We began back in 2017 out of a friends place, from then to now we’ve had a few relocations due to not finding the right spot for us. We are a sneaker, streetwear & vintage boutique. Nollege exists to make customers feel special and unique by providing them access to rare and limited products. Our customers strive to set themselves apart from what is perceived as “Ordinary” and the experience we provide reflects that.
We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
So here at nollege we have three owners: Edgar Ventura, Cristian Guzman & I. I met Edgar back in high school & we’d always talk about streetwear, he was always early on the trends & would introduce me to a lot of brands. I met Cristian shortly after through Edgar & we just clicked. They wanted to open a vintage shop at the time & invited me to do the shoes/streetwear portion of it, i agreed & now here we are. We actually have a video on our youtube channel about the origin & goes into good detail if you’d like to check it out!

How did you build your audience on social media?
We actually have built most of our following organically. We rarely ever pay for ads or give away product for shout outs. Our goal is always to provide quality content & its worked for us. One bit of advice I have is to stay consistent, but also don’t flood your feed. We put a lot of focus on our instagram & if you’ve checked it out yet, i’m sure you can tell.
