We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Precious Monèt a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Precious, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

Everyone has a story and Precious Monèt story started when she was a little girl being influenced by her father who started his entrepreneurship journey at the age of 16. She always knew she would become her own entrepreneur one day, but she just wasn’t sure what she wanted to do that would be impactful. Her parents are always her inspiration and as she grew older and continued to see the ongoing strength in her parents and how they would impact their community, it is in her DNA to become who she is. A strong confident woman that loves helping others and impacting the community. Precious journey was not easy but well worth every letdown, disappointment, and challenge she had to face to be the strong person that she is today.

Although she always had the support from her parents, it was always a challenge throughout her personal & professional career to gain the support from friends, colleague and supervisors. Image being up for a promotion and the colleague that you went to lunch with everyday that you trust goes behind your back to tell the president of the company your not qualified for the promotion. How about imaging your best friend that you trusted for 10 years turned their back on you when you decided to open a business when you needed them most.

With some of these challenges Precious had to face, she was tired of trying to fit in and wanted to be a resources for women that lack support. Weather you lack support in your personal life, professional career or entrepreneurial joinery, she decided to create a platform (Be Her Support) to provide the support and accountability we often are not comfortable asking for. Especially after feeling betrayed, hurt by people we trust, hurt by people that look like you or even just feeling stuck.

Be Her Support was birth due to the lack of support from women that look like her. Witnessing constant competition amongst women also plays a part in why she wanted to design an environment where collaboration trumps competition through her coaching program.

Be Her Support is designed to provide women with the personal, professional or entrepreneurial support that they need through our coaching programs, courses, business fundamentals and more.

Precious, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Precious Monét is an experienced and well-established business woman, who has mastered the art of planning and execution; which has been a huge asset to her journey thus far. She is on a mission to impact lives with her time and talents. Throughout her educational journey, Precious prepared and planned for the success she has now, equipped with professional roots in Human Resources, Project Management along with her obtaining a BA in Administrative Management and completing her certification to become a certified Life Coach.

Precious is proud of the authenticity her brand Be Her Support provides by connecting one-on-one with people, and especially connecting them with other useful professionals and resources. Precious Monét also commits much of her life to community work and volunteering for churches and organizations that directly serve the people. Precious plans to continue to move strategically, grow her own businesses, while aiding in the growth and service of both her valued clients, as well as the community.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Entrepreneurship is not easy! For anyone that says it is, Precious would love to meet them one day. Entrepreneurship is about being relentless for your passion and your willing to embrace change. It is one of the biggest risks but so satisfying if you are doing what you love. Precious journey was not easy but well worth all the challenges she had to face to be the strong person that she is today. There were so many people that couldn’t see her vision, did not support her and would rather see her fail. Some of the hardest parts during this journey was being taken advantage of by people she considered her family and the loss of friendships that she thought would always be by her side. Precious says you will learn as you grow that not everyone is for you. It’s important to surround yourself around positive people and people that can hold you accountable. Precious had finally learned not to always expect your plans to go as plan but to plan for the unexpected. By continuing to show up in her business authentically is what help build her reputation within the market.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.

Support goes a long way and everyone receives support differently. Precious met her 2 business partners though social media (Instagram). Who would of known Dotrell McNeal, The CEO & Founder of Your Confidence Matters was a true supporter of another business page couple of years ago is now today the VP of Be Her Support. Adriane Zackery has been a true supporter of Be Her Support from day one and today she is our EVP of Be Her Support. These two queens has truly demonstrated what support looks like and make a phenomenal team of coaches.
