Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Troy Pryor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Troy, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today f you needed to find a key partner or facility – how did you find them, what was the process of striking a deal like and what would you do differently knowing what you know now?
I research what they need first and align more offering to that. My goal is to always provide value before I deliver an ask.


As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I started on stage in school shows and it felt natural. Once I was done playing college ball, an opportunity to get in front of the camera came about and from there I studied the business. Eventually, I learned enough to build a production company, then the Creative Cypher ecosystem, which has allowed me to executive produce multiple projects.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Certainly during Covid, we all had to pivot. I had built up a strong model, but I was able to restructure some of the processes and team for more efficiency. It allowed me to get back in front of the camera and scale toward acquisition of other media entities.


What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Referral. Most of my opportunities are now coming from past work and relationships that open new doors.
