We were lucky to catch up with Justin Croninger recently and have shared our conversation below.
Justin, appreciate you joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I just finished producing the High Holy Day services for Temple Israel in Memphis, TN. This religious organization has over 5,000 families as members and on the most important days of the year they trusted us to deliver their powerful presentations. The services are full of readings from holiday specific prayer books and with the help of a Hebrew translator we deliver a livestream that has the prayerbook pages onscreen for those watching at home. The pandemic has made it necessary to reach people in new ways and Temple Israel’s commitment to excellence for it’s members has created opportunities for us to create new and innovative ways to deliver their message. The combination of our production value, the leaderships of the Rabbi’s, and the musical talent makes our services stand as a beacon of light for the jewish community in Memphis and beyond. I’ve learned so much about Judaism over the past 2 years of working alongside this temple. The jewish values of love, kindness, and doing what is right because it is the right thing to do have really struck home with me. I look forward to continuing to create religious art with this impactful organization.
Justin, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My degree is in theatre performance and I’ve always loved telling stories. One day I discovered that I could tell stories with a camera on a digital canvas and my company was born. Today we offer a wide range of video services from live-streaming, live event production, motion graphics, corporate and promotional videos, social media videos, wedding cinematography, and more. I like to say that I love what I do and I make it show in each and every video I create.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I think my what I have done best in this business is come thru with my promises every time. Sometimes living up to expectations means long hours and sacrifices, but gaining and keeping my clients trust is really important to me. I want my clients to know that when they trust me with their projects that it is going to be done right every time.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being creative?
I love the pride that comes with the fact that I get to support my family while being an artist. When I go to work everyday its never the same and I get to find new ways to create video art for such a wide variety of project. To have my kids get to watch me build a business around is important to me because I want them to know that with hard work and belief in yourself anything is possible.
