We recently connected with Amore “William” Ayala and have shared our conversation below.
Amore “William”, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with something countless entrepreneurs have had to figure out on the fly – how have you dealt with the rise of remote work?
Its allowed me to get more done, more clients not just in state, I can work with anyone anywhere.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Amore ” William” Ayala is a beauty expert from Newark NJ based in Atlanta. He is a Fashion design / Stylist / Creative director and Manicurist, the man almost does it all. His fashion brand AYALA Couture meets high glamour and fantasy perfectly in the middle. A mixture of high-end couture pieces and comfortable yet stylish urban wear. During covid Amore created Sew Style Hause a sewing pattern company that specializes in easy to make patterns with high end looks for the self-taught and beginner designer/seamstress. Helping designers everywhere achieve their design dreams and potential. Being self-taught himself he understood how discouraging sewing could be without training and the lack of pattern styles for his types of designs. With the birth of Sew Style Hause came a new wave of creative ideas in the peak of covids lock down period. Inspired by vintage sewing pattern illustrations and fashion sketches he created a sires fashion coloring book of his beautiful designs for all to enjoy and order! Yes you can order the gowns from the coloring book! The first of the sires is called A Love Letter To Couture available online at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
Amore is also well known on the south side for his work at The Wellness Spot a fitness & day spa destination in the heart of Historic College Park, GA. The Wellness Spot delivers a total well-being experience. Black and woman owned this spa is a gem like no other. There Amore is known for what the Spa calls “Thee Amour Experience”. A pedicure infused with organic home sourced products touches of reflexology and foot care knowledge. Has clients even flying in to book. “I really just try to enjoy people at there base wellness is important to me I enjoy making people feel good.”
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
No one was getting things made during covid. I was just thinking to myself how could I still even do fashion. I noticed people were still creating or learning new skills. I thought well I couldn’t really sell any gowns at the time but I could sell some of my fashion sense and my experience. Then came Sew Style Hause and I’m so thankful for it. It really open up so many new ideas for me it almost made it new again for me. I never thought I’d have a coloring book available on Barnes & Noble or puzzles of my work.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
That you only have to do one thing. Be limitless learn and do new things all the time. I was made to feel a lot of times like I could only be one thing or you had to do things in a manner. Letting go of that type of thinking and being opened up lots of joy and room for me to be.
