Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eric Tillis . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Eric thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? The world needs to hear more realistic, actionable stories about this critical part of the business building journey. Tell us your scaling up story – bring us along so we can understand what it was like making the decisions you had, implementing the strategies/tactics etc.
We created our blueprint by integrating new systems and having great team! Our team is composed of long time friends, family, and classmates from Wiley college.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I started bartending during my undergraduate years at a local Mexican restaurant. This is where I learned how to create craft cocktails while giving my guests an experience! I began doing private events for local DJs and fraternity and sorority parties. The small town of Marshall Texas is where I got my start, and I am forever grateful.
What sets me apart is our Japanese garnish style, fire show inspired by the blue blazer cocktail, and our attention to detail with stamped ice blocks! We have made this our signature everywhere we have traveled.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Networking with local event planners, DJs, chefs and bar owners has lead to us been able to keep a strong following! We always keep a strong mindset by staying innovative. Defining a strong brand in our market and beyond and sticking to that!

How’d you meet your business partner?
I met my business partner in a elevator at The Wiley college in Marshall , Texas. After dating in college and forming the business she has been there since day one. Amber helps with marketing and even filling in on the early days working events and being hands on on defining the brand! Now she is a event planner in the Greater Houston area I’m proud of how far she has come in this industry!
