We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ivelisse Vázquez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Ivelisse, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Since May 8, I started to like makeup, it started as entertainment and today’s Sun, July 28, 2022, I love makeup.
Ivelisse, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what do you do?
Makeup was never my favorite thing, I started loving it when I was big. I used to watch my mom and sister put on lipstick and foundation and it never called my attention to doing it. I started my second job at Walmart and was surrounded by makeup. And there I started to buy makeup but I never used it so much once a month and be careful. When I began to put on much more makeup, it was when I got together with my partner that my love for makeup began, day and night, I practiced it. I have also taken makeup courses such as (true full color) (basic hairstyle)(dental whitening)(advanced makeup)(everything about the business) and the others I don’t remember well.
This year I thought it would be a year of many achievements but unfortunately it has been a difficult year since my partner had a serious accident and will be in a hospital for 1 or 2 days, I don’t know yet. I wasted the little time I had to put on makeup and it hurt. a lot because you loved seeing my makeup. But with faith and patience, I know everything will be fine. I lost my job because of what happened. I began to dedicate myself to selling products such as perfumes, but I haven’t had any results yet, and I don’t quit because I know I can achieve more.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My audience creates it with love, patience, a lot of effort and dedication. To my guys who see me and want to know how to increase my audience, here it goes, keep in mind what your audience would be passionate about seeing from you, what message you want to convey, what achievements you want to do, etc. and you will see that you will not have that trying hard everything will happen by itself, but don’t rush everything will come.
Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
The video I loved to make was to draw a baby angel since that marked Puerto Rico and the whole world with the killing of this girl (partner of a boxer) who was pregnant.
