Alright, Miya thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

CHANTE’ is actually my middle name. I wanted my brand to represent me so I thought it was perfect.

CHANTE’ is a brand that allows you to identify yourself without even saying a word.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Marketing helped build my reputation as an artist and designer.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I recently unlearned that people are buying product….No, people are buying you. Your brand is you and you are your brand. So if I had any advice, it would be to treat your brand as if you were selling yourself. Make sure to be pleasant and kind of over extend yourself for your clientele.
