We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jestacia Lanette. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jestacia below.
Jestacia , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about how you went about setting up your own practice and if you have any advice for professionals who might be considering starting their own?
Starting a wholistic practice of the magnatitude it is today- I had no clue… absolutely no idea.
My advice for a young professional- stay open minded. You never know how the pieces will fit together. Just know that –nothing will be wasted.
Learn your craft, expand your gifts and talents. Exposure – experience and education is the key.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I connect the dots as it relates to mind- body healing. Actual soul care- self awareness.
I started in Aesthetics- natural Health and Beauty in all phases, from tv to entertainment to main stream consumers.
Spa Wellness is my passion. Spiritually… Mind-Body healing is my calling.
I’m most proud of my line of herbal teas / Infusions designed to balance the mind and body. Ancient herbs used during Biblical times as well.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Shutting down the voices. When moving in an unknown direction, FOCUS is everything.
You can NOT focus and listen to the unexperienced; nor those who are unaware of your gifts and natural abilities.
Seeking out- the support you need, while setting healthy boundaries is crucial in your growth process- at every stage of life and business.
For years,
I carried the opinion of others, and trying to people please those close to me. It doesn’t work. Some will be left behind. Some will no longer fit- the deminsion that you are being drawn / led to.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Staying relevant and intuned with the times. Understanding your client base, as you grow and build an audience.
Know your market.
I remember the strike in the TV industry- for those who did not diversify their business had to close.
Also,
In marketing your business-
A digital footprint is required. You must have a tech department- a no Brainer for some.
I’ve observed the shift in marketing my business over the years.
