Jolie , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers
On New Year’s Eve I was getting ready to celebrate with my son. I got a call from a close friend who knew someone who was requesting that I write her some wedding vows. Her friend read my book and knew I was the perfect person to put her emotions into words for her wedding day. I was apprehensive at first and then got into gear! When did she need them?!? For the next day! I got into my head and wrote some amazing vows that she read on her big day!
Jolie , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a regular woman with a passion for writing. A therapy assignment on me describing a perfect day is what created my first novel Confetti. I now write for those who aren’t able to put their thoughts or feelings on paper. I’m proud to be able to use my God given talent to speak through others. Each project I receive is different and pushes me artistically.
I write books for people like myself: hopeless romantics, needing an escape from day to day life, and not into love feeling like pain.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Word of mouth. Most people who reach out to me have already read my book or heard about it. Im always shocked and humbled when someone asks me to write for them, when someone purchase my book and write a rave review, or when someone asks when is the next book because Confetti was so captivating.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with clients via social media. IG is the main source of me sharing news, my life, and updates. My clients also know me through other clients and they turn into family. I haven’t got into other social media platforms but I plan to.
