Nile, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I really believe I’m happiest as an creative because no matter who copied me or steal ideas I can keep making another better idea than the last. Creatives are constantly in this cycle of not believing themselves then knowing they got the whole world in their hands and it’s ok!
Nile, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started trying to get myself in the Industry by my mom buying my first camera which was a canon T5i. I went on instagram and just started networking and socializing with other creatives that were local. We were making as much art as we could to then post it and it just started racking up views. I got majority of my client base for just taking my craft seriously and always being man of my word. Your word could take yourself a long way.
Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
NFT’s are great for VFX and 3D artists because it’s the margin from internet money and to 3D artists gaining notoriety. NFT’s was a trend that didn’t quite last long than was expected but it was a interesting thing to witness.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of my biggest lessons in life I had to learn was not everybody have common sense and not everybody have the same morals and values of you. Your character isn’t everybody else character so you can’t expect everybody to be like you.
