Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rondy Brownlee . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rondy , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
This risk was not executed off of faith or luck. This risk was executed because a plan was stuck too. In 2019, I knew I was graduating college, I knew I had to make something happen, but I did not want to sit at a desk. I began to test out a talent I enjoyed and was good at, selling fashion. I’ve been selling fashion since the age of 13, and it carried over into a career. I took that talent and applied structure with it. Now that structure has given me the opportunity to create generational wealth for my child. This risk I have taken has completely changed my life. Never did I think I would be here, but I always knew I would do something of recognition. I always knew I would work for myself.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am the owner of the brand Three Points, INC, where we supply an assortment of vintage & streetwear apparel, a select amount of designer & a wide variety of the most recent and sought after footwear. We help clients obtain a certain look/product they may desire. We buy products from clients who may have no more use for it. And we also provide a NEW look that can set you apart. The thing I am most proud of is knowing that the brand can not only bring the community out, but that we can make the community HAPPY. Through our different big sale days, through our instagram reels, whatever it is, I’m glad we have a certain touch & something to offer that people enjoy.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I personally feel like what helped us build our reputation is our attention to little detail. Such as, customer service. Making every customer feel as if they are home and well taken care of. Letting them know that they are appreciated and noticed, NOT FORGOTTEN.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
A time where I had to make a pivot in business is when inflation hit and things slowed down. This price of gas was $4 for regular and a pair of shoes was $250-$300. People had bigger things to worry about than that pair of shoes. So what could we do? Different sales tactics had to change and things had to be tweaked. I had to put my head down in the background and really begin to figure things out for the business. And I did, big thank you to my team as well for always keeping it rolling and never holding back on ideas to up the brand.
