We caught up with the brilliant and insightful RICCARDO GALDIERO a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
RICCARDO, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I take a lot of time to realize what I really want to do and how! I had a lot of nice jobs that didn’t give to me any true happiness, so during the Covid I start studying what really is my dream, comic & illustration. I always drew since I was a kid, growing up I continue to draw and sometimes study to improve some skill, but I never trust to much in my self in the Art World.
In 2021 I opened “Art3 Studio” with my mother (painter) and my little brother (sculptor), this is a place where we can work for ourselves, and even make lessons for anyone !

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am an Illustrator. I like to put my mind into shapes and color, making them talk with the people.
Usually customers come to me asking for my graphic solution, Illustrations or logos for any necessity or event.
Last summer I had lots of drawing class, with students from 6 to 27.
It’s makes me understand that there many ways to live the Art Life, teaching, to me, is absolutely one of them!
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I think that being creative is necessary for the evolution, personal and global. It gives you the chance to have your way of doing things, making feel you free.
Sometimes is hard to communicate with the world, and even more with ourselves, but the art will always build bridge and not walls.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I used to create some NFTs, and I find them really interesting. Will take time before they could be really appreciated. Something is evolving, and as it goes for the canvases when they arrived for the firsts times, not everyone is ready for the changes.
