We were lucky to catch up with Lukasz & Gabrielle Wozniak recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Lukasz & Gabrielle, thanks for joining us today. Can you share a story about the kindest thing someone has done for you and why it mattered so much or was so meaningful to you?
Doing some drone photography/videography in Conneticut my husband and I went to a restaurant called Village Restaurant in Litchfield, CT to grab a quick bite. We weren’t starving and wanted to get something light. We asked the server which was better the clam strips or something else. Usually servers answer but this server didn’t. She said they both are good and whatever we choose we won’t be disappointed. So my husband and I split the clam strips and the famous New England clam chowder. When it was time to pay the server came over and said the clam strips were paid for. Confused mixed with surprise we asked may we ask who paid. We knew no one in town and it was our 1st time visiting. So the server begins to tell us the woman isn’t here. She and her husband would come here and eat lunch and her husband always got the clam strips but ever since he passed she comes in and eats dinner and then goes on their favorite hike nearby. Before she leaves she tells the servers whoever orders the clam strips first she will pay for in memory of her husband. The server said that is why I couldn’t tell you what to get. My husband and I were so moved and full of emotion we told the server to please tell the woman thank you. But we felt that wasn’t enough. When we got our check we wrote a note on the back for the woman offering our condolences but also thanks for her generosity and our gratitude for allowing us to be apart of her and her husband’s story/memory. We asked the server to give this to her when she returns. We never met this woman but we look forward to going back to that area and maybe one day running into her.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My husband and I love to travel and I always made our own Itineraries because I didn’t like the touristy travel and he was always taking amazing photos on his drone. So we decided to do a blog so that other people can add these places to their bucket list but also enjoy a trip of hidden gems/food spots. We provide free Itineraries of places we’ve already visited and even will create Itineraries based on the needs, desires and wants of the client. We provide videos for air bnbs and hotels to advertise on their sites as well as review restaurants of places to go and not to go to. The whole point of our blog is for people to find them useful and just have fun so we are most proud of the joy and fun people are having when they take our Itineraries and travel.
We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
Well my husband is my partner and we actually met when he came to this country from Poland when he was about 6 years old. He didn’t know english but I didn’t know that I just saw another kid to play with. However, we didn’t like each other because he thought I talked to much and I thought he was rude because he walked away from me when I was trying to talk to him. Unbeknown to me he didn’t understand me. We grew up together with the same friends and even when I moved we still had the same circle of friends. When I went to college we lost touch for 2 years. But I was visiting some friends and ran into a mutual friend of ours and asked how Lukasz was doing. And this friend gave me his new number, I didn’t have social media then. So I txt him and we made plans to hang out and then the rest was history. We got married and he is not only my forever marriage partner and best friend but now my business partner.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
We believe consistency is the key in growth but also to make sure our blog has something to offer to people. It needs to be informative but also catch the attention of our listeners. So nothing too long. Tagging companies we reviewed and reaching out to companies to see if they would be interested in a review or drone video to boost their business. This has been helpful in not just growing clientele but meeting new people and establishing relationships.
