Chad, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Some of the most interesting parts of our journey emerge from areas where we believe something that most people in our industry do not – do you have something like that?
Most people believe that affirmations can make all of the difference. I believe that affirmations are lies we tell ourselves hoping they come true one day and instead teach my coaching clients and share in my book, Achieve Your Apex, that we should be using askformations (yes I made the word up)
Askformations are questions we ask ourselves instead of affirmations. These questions force actions

Chad, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was someone that failed often. From school challenges to financial challenges to leadership challenges to health challenges and everything in between. After discovering the world of sales (real estate) I learned how to overcome challenges and achieve success.
After years of success as a salesperson I moved into leadership opportunities and a role as an instructor. This continued to bring success and that lead to opportunities from people asking me to work with them directly to become a coach.
Due to my failures and my successes I have been able to assist many in achieving results well beyond what they believed on their own.
During the covid experience instead of traveling to speak at events I wrote Achieve Your Apex and it became a best seller and has become a guide for many to move forward in their world

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Authenticity. Not every client is for every coach (or every client for every business) so be authentic and find the people that are right for you.
Some people are Coke drinks and some are Pepsi and it will always be that way.
As I began my leadership opportunities and speaking opportunities it was clear that I came from a background of tough love. It was clear that I was sarcastic. And it was clear that I got results and expected accountability from those working with me.
This created a clear clientele for me and has continued to help me grow my business and opportunities

How did you build your audience on social media?
This also is to lead with authenticity and don’t only share the social media life that most live. Things are not all roses and rainbows so share who you are and the challenges you are experiencing and the lessons you have learned. One of the best ways to grow an audience on any of the social media platforms is to bring consistency and trust that over time the results will come.
Too many people want immediate results and to be the next viral sensation and that is short lived. The successful are the ones that build a platform through consistency and honesty
Remember that you will connect to different people through different likes so post about all areas of your life.
When I coach people to social media success we create a menu to follow. For example I have posted about movies every Monday for 12+ years and that consistency brings me followers that enjoy movies. On Fridays I post fitness related posts and this creates my audience that connect with me through fitness goals and activities. Choose those things that are you, and share about them and your audience will show up
