When asked if I have a hero, two people come to my mind right away: My parents (Stephen and Susan Guerrieri) I am a teacher and Small Business Owner and my parents are both teachers as well. I can’t even begin to name all of the lessons that my parents have taught me over the years and continue to teach me into adulthood. Read more>>

That is always a tough question for me to answer. One person who I haven’t met, but am truly inspired by her is Brene Brown. Her research on how shame, courage, and vulnerability impacts human connection has changed my life. I found her message when I was in a really dark time in my life and it filled my soul with hope and courage in ways I disparately needed. Read more>>

I know it’s really kinda cliche but my hero is my mother. If I could keep it short and explain why as well as the lessons I have learned from her, I would say it was her drive. I’d say my hero(es) are definitely my parents. They’re not afraid to dream and go after those dreams. We’re an immigrant family and they had to sacrifice a lot for us to get here but they also had to have a lot of faith. Through them I’m reminded constantly that ANYTHING is possible even with the smallest amount of faith. Read more>>
