Elena, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

The story behind my mission can be put simply… its God. I am involved in three vast realms of the world: animal medicine, wedding ceremonies and a brand that creates apparel for the flesh but represents the soul. In each area, I witness miracles day after day. And since youth that has always been my goal. I knew I wanted to be involved on many platforms but I also knew I wanted them to include aiding the world, being part of good change, kindness and fellowship. Working with animals, officiating weddings and creating designs for an inspirational brand offers me all of those details.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Every move I make is to spread love, good change, positivity and to bring people closer to God. I ended up in college for computers and got a Mini Schnauzer. My pup ended up changing my world and I left the computer field and branched off into animal medicine. I tell you what – caring and treating animals has offered a way better reward than the IT field. I get to assist with making lives better for the animal and the pet parent. Now, if you’ve ever been to a wedding you know how lovely they truthfully are. Getting to officiate such a beautiful bond between two people is such an honor. A few weeks ago, I had the amazing opportunity to walk a dog named Moe down the aisle to his parents. I was able to put two jobs into one. Talk about a fun task!
And then lets be honest, who doesn’t love a cute outfit especially something comfy with inspirational or fun messages. Getting to see my brand create conversation about God while seeing people looking stylish is the best part of some of my days. Not to mention I’ve had animal clients buy clothing for them and their pet. HA! Isn’t that awesome?!?
Overall, I am able to bring animals, weddings and clothes together. I am able to spread love, show up for people and be part of something that’s so much more than self.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

Um, COVID! That good old Covid. I, mainly, offer animal care for many clients when they are away or traveling. When the world was shut down, I slowed down. And in return, I put that time into my clothing apparel brand. Since most people were online, searching, browsing and looking for an ounce of inspiration I decided to take my brand to the next level by using social media to encourage more people and to also assist with getting the brand out to the world.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

Knowledge is money. Read, study, ask questions and work hard. Never ever stop educating yourself because don’t have to go into debt to start certain businesses but you must be well educated on what you are getting into.

I started building up my pet care clientele as an animal nurse. I took the animal care money and bought the machines to create apparel and now we are here.
