Sharica, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I founded Red Rose Naturals in Florida after developing a line of plant-based products to help alleviate my son’s eczema. I was determined to create natural remedies that would give him relief, without the use of harsh chemicals. My son’s eczema has never been better, and now we are serving families internationally. My company, Red Rose Naturals uses natural ingredients, fruit extracts, and pure oils to formulate products that are safe and non-toxic to help hydrate and create flawless-looking skin. I am dedicated to creating sustainable employment opportunities for women in Africa and mentorship for young women in the USA & Globally. My strong mission is to change the way we engage with the world through fair trade practices. This is what led to my development of the Red Rose Naturals Shea Butter Ghana team. The result is a company that is passionate about healthy skincare solutions and extensive community involvement.

Sharica, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am the CEO and Founder of Red Rose Naturals’ organic skin care beauty brand. I am a science graduate from the University of Michigan, a Forbes Next 1000 Honoree, and a Philanthropist from Flint, Michigan. Red Rose Naturals is an international brand that uses fruit extracts and pure ingredients to formulate products that are safe and non-toxic to help hydrate and create flawless-looking skin. Our product line includes a variety of nourishing skincare items, such as Turmeric Soaps, Face Creams, and Body Butters.
I started my company, Red Rose Naturals in Florida after creating plant-based salves & lotions to aid in alleviating the symptoms of my son’s eczema. After seeing the positive effects of the products created, I shared products with friends and family which led to the start of Red Rose Naturals in 2017. I am now dedicated to creating sustainable employment opportunities for women in Africa and mentorship for young women in the USA & Globally. The development of the Red Rose Naturals Shea Butter Ghana team was due to my strong mission to change the way we engage with the world through fair trade practices.
My goal for Red Rose Naturals is to continue establishing partnerships that align with our mission of premium, pure, fair-traded ingredients from partners that are trustworthy with credible social statuses.
We are set apart due to our diligent research in quality natural ingredients. We take the time to thoroughly research our raw ingredients and the actual farms these goods are harvested from. One very unique factor in our brand is that we are very passionate about building personal connections with many of our customers. We meticulously employ people to keep this factor prevalent in our company.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
We at Red Rose Naturals are focused on providing amazing customer service to every one of our customers. We have a strong belief in the importance of building long-term relations with our clients, and we want them to feel like they are a part of our family. We believe that this is the best way to grow a business – by providing an excellent product and service.
For one, we have a robust referral program that rewards our customers for inviting their friends and family to join. We also have amazing customer service and a very personalized approach to customer happiness. We also offer exclusive deals that provide amazing value-adds on all of our services.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Connecting with our customers and cultivating great relationships is essential for our business. I believe that a company’s practices are an extension of the Founder’s and Owners’ personal values. As for me, I believe in treating people with respect and operating with integrity while providing value. Our communication takes place with our email marketing systems and SMS Marketing Technology. This is where we facilitate direct communication with our subscribers. Our subscribers enjoy receiving information about skincare education, new product releases, and the latest company updates. We also like to check in with customers and receive feedback on their experience with Red Rose Naturals. Our customers are the blueprint of the success of Red Rose Naturals. The positive experiences from our customers, shape the legacy and the fulfillment of our company’s mission.
