We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful LeeNor Dikel. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with LeeNor below.
LeeNor, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
My business helps women create their own businesses based on their passions. I help my clients with both business strategy as well as the important mindset work necessary to become a successful entrepreneur. In my program, I work with my clients to heal their limiting beliefs, their self doubt, their perfectionism and procrastination, and to learn the right motivation and goal strategies to create a successful business. I also help them figure out what kind of business they would like to start based on what they’re good at, passionate about, the current market demand, and what will provide them the lifestyle they are looking for. In the more strategic section of my program, I help my clients create a business plan, set up a marketing system, and brand their business. My business is unique because I not only help my clients with the logistics of their business, but I also help them become the person they need to be, through mindset work, in order to be successful in their business. My holistic approach helps clients choose a business that they can commit to, as well as adapt a positive and resilient mindset to achieve long term growth and success.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
The most successful conscious entrepreneurs are those who understand that a successful business is one where everyone wins. They’re purpose driven and ambitious, but also care about the impact they have on society and the environment. This new way of thinking is changing how successful businesses are run, and it’s likely to continue to have an impact as businesses evolve in the future.
One of the key factors that sets conscious entrepreneurs apart is their focus on creating value for all stakeholders, not just shareholders. They understand that a successful business is one that benefits everyone involved, from employees and customers to suppliers and the community at large. This approach can lead to more sustainable and profitable businesses in the long run.
A large part of running a conscious business is the way that company leaders treat their employees. Instead of treating them as expendable resources, conscious leaders see their employees as valuable assets and treat them with respect. This often leads to higher levels of productivity and engagement at work which translates into greater success for the company overall.
Valuing employees as individuals with their own strengths and ideas, in the long run provides better returns for both parties. Along those lines, taking the time to create a healthy company culture and invest in a corporate coach to inspire all levels of employment and management has been proven time and time again to be incredibly effective in both profitability and employee satisfaction.
That is why an equally important aspect of the conscious entrepreneur is empathy. They understand that in order to be successful, they need to put themselves in the shoes of their customers, employees and suppliers. This empathy allows them to build better relationships with everyone involved and create a more positive work environment.
If you’re looking for ways to bring some consciousness into your business, there are many things you can do. One approach is to make empathy a key part of your company’s culture. Try and see things from other people’s perspectives, especially when there are disagreements or conflicts between employees.
Show your employees that you take them seriously by being open to new perspectives that they might add to the business. Something that I personally love about my work is my ability to help organizations improve their company culture. Part of my responsibility in working with companies is to help them increase profitability and efficiency. A huge part of that is through corporate coaching, working directly with employees, and improving the corporate environment.
Something that I recommend all managers practice with their employees is to encourage them to use their unique creativity and talent to get their job done. So many people lose confidence in their abilities after disappointments in school or because of previous employers. Instead of talking down to your employees, or pressuring them around deadlines, encourage them. Encourage them by letting them know that they are an important piece of the puzzle and that your team needs them. Encourage them to do their best by letting them know that you genuinely believe they have something powerful to offer. Stay firm but be flexible if they ask for extensions or time off.
As a matter of fact, show them that you see them as a person and not just a workhorse. Don’t overload them with work, and let them know that you trust them to get things done on time rather than pressuring them every minute by checking in. When your employees feel like they are an important part of a mission rather than just a disposable player, you will not only boost their moral, but also their desire to do their best work for your company.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
In regards to lead generation strategy, I always advise my clients that it really depends on the individual business model. Every business is going to have a different structure, which is why it’s so important to adapt your lead generation strategy accordingly. At Life With LeeNor LLC, our primary source of clientele has been through LinkedIn outreach and organic client attraction via Instagram. The secondary source of clientele is always referrals. This is a good balance to aim for because you want to make sure you’re building relationships with your existing clients as much as you’re acquiring new ones. A 50/50 retention/acquisition model is a healthy balance for most businesses.
