We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Boss Britt . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Boss below.
Hi Boss , thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I have been an aspiring entrepreneur since the age of 15. I started off doing team parties in Cincinnati Ohio. When I realize I can make money outside of work in a 9 to 5, Immediately fell in love with the idea of entrepreneurship. After high school I decided not to go to college. I started a record label which I did for three years. I didn’t got back into event coordinating at the age of 21. At the age of 21 I also had a purpose which was to fulfill providing a safe place for the LGBTQ I a plus community to come together and be entertained by various different artists with whom I booked and brought to my city in Cincinnati Ohio.
Boss , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As stated I began doing the best when I was 15 year olds. Throughout the course of throwing events and realized that what I was doing was event coordinating, marketing, advertising, and promotions. Through knowing that I then began to also offer these services to other people who are looking to grow their brand. While throwing parties I also became a host on the mic was then allow me to become a host on a podcast, The Progress Report 🎯
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
When I was about 21 years old after one of my Vince where I but Dommo Wilson I was robbed. This is one of the big is the best that I ever thrown and I actually had all of my money on me that night. At this point I could’ve chosen to give up instead I decided to move to Atlanta and start all over. Move it to Atlanta was the best decision I ever decide to meet because I was able to reach a broader market and grow my influence beyond what I would ever imagine.
We’d appreciate any insights you can share with us about selling a business.
As an aspirin or are you constantly want to have different things going on. I began to do my research and came across an app called Turo which is basically the Airbnb version for cars. My business partner and I decided to finance two cars which we didn’t put on to Tirell. Although we were making Ookay money, it was a lot of labor that was required to run this business. The gas also did not keep our cars in the best condition therefore we decided to sell our cars after one of our clients actually blue one of our engines!
