We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Christina Williams . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Christina below.
Alright, Christina thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The reason I do what I do is because so many times in this entertainment world real talent is overlooked because they don’t fit in “the box”. I started Ahava so that creative, artistic and talented individuals can shine in their gifts. I myself am an actress/model and I felt it’s my job to help people who don’t know where to go or how to have the freedom to display their awesomeness.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I’m the eldest of 6 siblings, born and raised out of Havelock, NC and mother of 6 beautiful children. I’ve always wanted to become an actress because I love making people smile, laugh and feel good about themselves. What better way to do this is by acting out real life situations in a fun way. I grew up with a military background so discipline is my name hahaha. Ahava is a one stop shop for film, commercials, school of the arts, representation for music artists, modeling agency and acting. The difference between what I do from the others is that I honestly want to see people thrive and become successful in whatever area they are in. We all were born to shine and equipped to do so. It just takes someone to bring it out of you and that’s what I do! I bring a lot to the table because I’ve been in a few big productions such as Messiah and Charm City Kings, independent films such as King of Games, Miscalculated and more to come. I attended Jon Casablanca, took private acting lessons and other trainings. I’m serious about my work and if anyone chooses to work with me you will become successful. I’m building my team and it’s becoming pretty solid because everyone needs help in order to grow and become successful. Ahava will be one of the house hold names! If you want to be successful in this industry don’t hesitate, I’m the woman for you and will get the job done!
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective way to grow your clientele in my opinion is networking, networking and more networking. I have found this to be true. The more you become vulnerable and put yourself out there the more people you will meet. The reason I got to the place where I am today is because I’ve met sooo many great individuals from networking. A lot of my jobs I’ve landed came by networking. It really ends up being about who you know and once locked in you open up a lot is doors and opportunities.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
A story I’ll share about my resilience is from the beginning and start of my business. I hired a business manager and everything started out great but as time passed the money I was paying this individual didn’t add up to the results I wanted and paid for. Let’s just say it turned nasty, threats were involved, lawyers came up and eventually we had to part ways. After this moment I almost threw in the towel because literally thousands of dollars was conned out of me with nothing to show for. I was so broken and hurt over this because I trusted this person and thought we were on the same page but clearly wasn’t. I wanted to give up but I didn’t and now I’m super glad that I mustered up the strength to keep going. I’m now reaping from all my disappointments, sweat and tears.
