We recently connected with Kid Kush and have shared our conversation below.
Kid, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today The first dollar you earn is always exciting – it’s like the start of a new chapter and so we’d love to hear about the first time you sold or generated revenue from your creative work?
The first time I made money from my craft was purely off Spotify streams. It felt nice to see you effort materialize into something physical. You get paid a fraction of a cent per stream with Spotify ,so that just confirmed I was doing something right to make something.
Kid, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I consider myself as an artist more than a rapper I can make music just about anything. I’ve been doing music most of my life , but I started rapping about 6 years ago. I’ve got a couple collaboration tapes on the way and after that I’ll be dropping a solo project.
Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
It’s going to change the way people do collectables. Depend on which nfts you own you gain access to different people, things, and information that the normal person wouldn’t have.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding part about being an artist is inspiring someone else to do the same or push through some kind of situation.
