We were lucky to catch up with Antonio Hornung recently and have shared our conversation below.

Antonio, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’ve love to hear an interesting investment story – what was one of the best or worst investments you’ve made? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)

The best investment(s) I have ever made for my business were the time spent researching and learning more and more about photography and my camera and everything possibly related to it. That taught me the most and progressed me the most and is something I am still constantly doing. As a business owner I believe you should always be trying to master your craft and learn more about whatever it is that you do. It only has helped me feel more comfortable and confident while doing my job.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Antonio Hornung and I am a wedding photographer based out of Piqua, Ohio. I first got into photography just messing around on my phone but that quickly led to me getting a camera and trying all different kinds of pictures. Through years of trying different things I found a passion for wedding photography. I have now been focusing primarily on weddings and couples for the last 2 years. I believe that I provide my clients with a worry free wedding day experience where they have full confidence that their big day is being captured beautifully. I think while my photography style does set me apart I think the big thing that makes me stand out it my passion and willingness to help my clients with their experience in any way I possibly can. I love to help them have a day they will never ever forget. I love being a part of such a special moment and cherish the opportunity to meet so many amazing people.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

To me the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is knowing that they will show their kids the pictures that I take and they will show their kids and so on. I really love giving them amazing pictures knowing they will look back on them and smile many times throughout their life.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My mission is to show my siblings that you can do anything you put your mind to in life. For me that is turning my photography passion into a full time income but it goes for any goal or career path. Anything can be done as long as you have the right mindset and the work ethic to match it.
