Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bianca Richardson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bianca, appreciate you joining us today. How do you feel about asking friends and family to support your business? What’s appropriate, what’s not? Where do you draw the line?
My goal is never to hold too many expectations for friends and family, but always grateful when their support is given. This allows less disappointments and genuine happiness when they can and do offer love and support. As a wife and mother of four kids I understand how hectic our daily lives can be and we’re all doing the best we can.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I have always been drawn to the arts and beauty industry. A few years ago I decided to take a leap of faith by quitting my job as a paralegal and pursuing my dream to become a permanent makeup artist and esthetician. Shortly after covid, I began making my own skincare products which lead me to join the Ann Web skin institute. I specialize in permanent make up and aesthetics which include facials, waxing, lashing, etc. I am most proud of my ability to correct scarring, botched treatments, and give naturally beautiful enhancements to women and men. This is what I believe sets me apart in this industry. Trust between my clients and I is what I most desire. I want all clients to have full confidence knowing they will feel their most beautiful at the closing of every session.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Authenticity and a genuine desire to help people boost their confidence. I also put time in establishing a social media presence. Curating it to highlight who I am as person and showcase my work. People enjoy investing in the person and the service.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I come from a small town called Buda, Texas where I was raised by my grandmother. Watching my grandmother raise me in poverty made me into the woman I am today. My upbringing laid the foundation for me knowing how to work hard, grow something from nothing, and most importantly don’t take anything for granted. There are times I have an immense feeling of being overwhelmed yet I cherish ever moment of success.
