Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amy Pierquet. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amy, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
I only recently came to a realization that I am different than many other website designers in my industry. First, I am Google certified. I took courses to learn SEO straight from Google. I haven’t found a lot of other companies that have said this.
Second, I am not only a website designer but also a graphic designer. I custom design all my client’s sites and can create custom graphics or downloadable booklets as needed for my clients. This is something that you can’t often find, a website designer that also does graphic design.
Finally, I also do maintenance and updates on my client’s sites. I don’t just design the sites, I help client’s with their sites on an ongoing basis. Whether it is changes, updates to software, or functioning issues that arise.

Amy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Problems I solve: – Matching your brand to your vision
– Changing your site and messaging to attract the right/ideal clients to your business
– Help your website represent who you are as a business
– Help your business get found on Google
– Fix parts of your website that are not functioning
What sets me apart:
Mentioned in the previous question. A website and graphic designer rolled into one.
What am I most proud of:
Honestly, one of the things that makes me most happy is taking the stress out of business owners lives. A lot of owners get very stressed over websites and technology, especially when the website breaks. I love coming in and fixing the issues, whether it be big or small. The relief that this creates in their lives is what makes me the most proud/happy.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I help my clients take their vision into reality, I get to do what I love every single day.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
My biggest struggle really came in the form of my mindset/limiting belief. I look back and can see how these beliefs held me back. I always believed that I wasn’t good enough and I truly didn’t know how to build websites. I looked to business coach after business coach and it never helped. All of a sudden I had the clarity that it wasn’t my knowledge of website/graphic design or my strength in being a business owner, it was me. My own beliefs held me back. Once I started working on myself and my own traumas that is when I started to see major shifts in my business and my life.
