We recently connected with Payso Best Ever and have shared our conversation below.
Payso, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?
I approach it by having no fear my grind as a musician is selling my records I understand that people work hard everyday to earn a living they put in labor and are not afraid to go out and do it so how could I be afraid of a no if a person has a way to listen I have a way to make a living
Payso, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I come from a family of musicians my father was a drummer my mother was a lead singer for a period of time and my uncle played bass I was always around music. But to add to being a artist was the buisness of music itself I understood that people love good music and are willing to pay for it if it’s good so with music not being too good nowadays I provide a service of music that’s pure no cursing but yet can entertain the masses and I developed a good cliental with my product
: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The mission is to be a successful music artist using the inspiration of my life as the audio I don’t have a side hustle or anything I survive off my music 100 percent that alone inspires my supporters it involves a lot of discipline but I believe in it deeply and my goal is to be successful in multiple genres of music as well a do it all type artist and so with grind and talent I work hard to become the best I can be
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The lesson I learned is that follow what works for you not a trend because everyone story is different I once told a artist that it starts with being honest he told me it’s hard to really write a verse I replied that’s the first line what you said ….my point was be real with you rather trying to be real for others
