We were lucky to catch up with Kaitlyn Stout recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Kaitlyn , thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
When I was living in Brooklyn, NY in 2019, I was reflecting on some of my personal strengths because I knew I wanted to start my own business. I wanted to make sure that I was starting something that would be helpful to people in need. Funny enough, I came up with a very short list of things I was good at and called some friends and family for some ideas. After coming up short, I sat down and turned to see my planner, something I couldn’t live or function without. I wondered if there was any type of business where I could help people become more organized. One quick Google search later and the idea of Life In Order Inc was born.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Kaitlyn Stout and I am the founder of Life In Order Inc. We are a Professional Organizing company with the mission of helping our clients to get their physical spaces and lives in order. We purge, sort, organize and implement long-lasting systems in our residential and commercial clients’ physical spaces. We also provide organizing services pertaining to scheduling, filing, and digital organization. In addition to our in-person services, we provide consultation services through virtual calls for a more guided and hands-on experience for our clients. We are different from other organizers in the sense that we are not simply focused on the final result, it is also the journey that is important. We want to leave our clients with the confidence to maintain the organization that we facilitate. Our proudest moments are when we are finalizing our projects. We love to see the transformations that take place and we love to hear about how our service has helped our clients physically, mentally, and emotionally.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
When starting the business I made sure that Life In Order Inc had a presence on a plethora of platforms. However, the majority of our clientele has come directly from our website via a Google search. We are also on IG, FB, Tik Tok, and Findmyorganizer.com.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think that authenticity has helped me build Life In Order Inc’s reputation in the market. As a professional organizer my team and I are in direct contact with the client and we build relationships with them. We listen to their stories about the items we are sorting through. In addition, we do not try to be something I am not and we do not promise to have all the answers, but we promise that we will give all of our effort into finding them.
