Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Quinisha Perry. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Quinisha , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I started my hair company, Posh Obsession Hair due to the struggle of thin/fine hair. Growing up I experienced seeing women and young girls lose confidence within themselves due to hair loss. It could’ve been caused from hairstyles, genetics, cancer, medications, or even stress and depression causing alopecia. I wanted to create something that would back the confidence into a woman. We all know a woman with confidence is an unbeatable woman!
That’s where Posh Obsession Hair plays a part. Wearing our Luxury hair extensions gives women their confidence as well as a lifestyle of Luxury!

Quinisha , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Posh Obsession Hair is BIGGER THAN HAIR!!!
Not only do I sell hair extensions but I’m also a lifestyle coach where I help women discover who they truly are. I help them come out of their shells and become the BEST version of themselves, mentally, spiritually, physically and create a lifestyle they desire.
I work with different women who are aspiring entrepreneurs or looking to become one.
I also do community events such as back to school supplies giveaway, feed the homeless, toy drives, and one that’s dear to my heart is Breast Cancer Awareness, which I donate wigs to survivors.
I am most proud that I stepped out on faith to start a women support group called “Brown Girls Crowned”! This group creates a sisterhood amongst women where they can can connect with other woman on a spiritual , mental and business level. Being around women that’ll bring peace, encourage and uplifting energy. Someone who’s going to hold them accountable while on their journey to success.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
As someone who came from an environment of poverty, I was often counted out as the least likely. I grew up in the Englewood community of Chicago, IL. But thankfully a lot of us made it out successfully.
In February of 2019. I decided I wanted to be a salon owner . I found the perfect salon and was ready to go forward with my dream. Unfortunately right after, there was covid and the entire city had to shut down. I was so discouraged after this and unmotivated. So I gave up. I said “Maybe this isn’t for me” But after talking to a friend of mine, he told me to look at as a blessing in disguise. Don’t give up!
February 22,2022 I relaunched my hair company. I was determined at this point to walk into my purpose. However, what caused me to shine despite those who attempted to throw shade, was what resided down on the inside of me. The Bible says “there is treasure in our earthly vessels.” What is that treasure it speaks of? The treasure is the reason why you were born, it’s your purpose, your calling, the gift you are to the earth. When I realized that I carried treasure that could be a solution to a problem, I relaunched Posh Obsession Hair!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
In the process of relaunching I got a business coach, Tee Smith. Who’s absolutely the best! I suggest everyone get one or get a accountability partner. This caused my sales to increase and to connect with other successful women.
I post on my social media consistently. I post about my business, tell my story to connect with other women, do giveaways, and give tips on how I became successful. You’d be surprised on how you’ll reach people this way and gain followers and increase in sales.
Be very mindful on what you post. ALWAYS stay positive!
