Emoni, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

I’m all about enhancing inner beauty and empowering people through a shared loved of all things beauty. My main goal is to cultivate a space where my clients are able to define their own beauty.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

My journey as a makeup artist began early on in my teenage years. Ive always had a natural love for all things beauty related. I like to say that my career as a makeup artist found me. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into a career for me. After becoming a licensed esthetician in 2018, my business really began to flourish. Over the years my diverse clientele has grown and expanded. My clients choose to work with me because I provide exceptional services in a warm and welcoming environment. Creating a memorable experience is what I’m all about.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

One of the most important lessons that I’ve had to unlearn is the need to struggle in order to be successful. For a long time I made things more difficult than what was necessary. I over extended and overworked myself in order to prove that I was equipped to run a business. I had to learn that I’m amazing at what I do and that there’s a reason why I’m here. Although dedication and hard work are important to creating a successful business, there’s nothing wrong with taking a step back and taking a break when needed. If I could tell my younger self anything it would be to slow down and take your time. Everything that’s meant for you, is already yours. It will all happen in the right timing.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

My reputation in my industry is built on a strong foundation of consistency and trust. I not only show up for my clients every single time, but I go above and beyond for them. Because they deserve it. I feel honored that someone would invest their time, money, resources, etc. to support me. I have a genuine love and passion for what I do and I know that people feel that when they’re around me. I’ve met so many amazing people throughout my career and maintained powerful connections by providing excellent service and remaking personable.
