Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natasha Aladin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Natasha, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s something crazy on unexpected that’s happened to you or your business
One day out of the blue Brandy Norwood strolls into my boutique. I wasn’t really sure if it was her, but after greeting her I realized it was indeed the one and only BRANDY! I was ecstatic realizing that Brandy was inside my boutique but didn’t want to make her uncomfortable and was trying to control my excitement. After a little while, I started up a conversation with her and she was super sweet in person, very down to earth. She ended up picking up a few pieces from the boutique and after checking out, I built up the courage to ask for a photo. She happily obliged and went on her way. To my surprise, the next day on her Instagram account, she posted a photo of herself in one of the sweaters she bought. That was an extremely cool moment for me. She now stops by the boutique on a regular basis whenever she’s in Atlanta and even stopped by during the pandemic to show her support. It’s really a bit surreal to realize that Brandy is actually one of my clients.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I’ve had an ongoing love affair with fashion for as long as I can remember and had always dreamed of opening my own boutique. In 2011, I finally took the leap, and my dream became a reality when we opened Natasha Couture Fashion. We at Natasha Couture Fashion take pride in providing our clients a personal shopping experience catered to their fashion needs. We specialize in carrying the latest trends in fashion yet carry pieces that you typically won’t find elsewhere. It’s always a challenge to keep evolving and growing the business, but it’s a challenge I enjoy taking on. In recent years, we’ve put a much larger emphasis on e-commerce, providing a greater digital customer experience on our website and social media platforms. We are proud of the way our boutique and our business has grown over the years. This is in large part to the support of our loyal client base and word of mouth advertising in Atlanta.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source for new clients has been word of mouth advertising by our current clients. I’ve been extremely blessed to have a very loyal client base and they’ve played a big part in helping our business grow. We’ve been in business for 11 years now and have clients that have been with us since the beginning. I truly believe current clients lead to future clients. People trust people they know. Recommendations through social media or direct referrals have been a big key to our success. I take great pride in building relationships with all my clients and giving them a personal touch with their experience in our boutique.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I believe being active on social media has a number of benefits for your business. There are many things you can accomplish with a social media presence including engaging customers, generating leads, expanding your customer base, driving sales and gaining valuable insights just to name a few. My advice to anyone starting to build their social media presence is to always be engaged and maintain a constant presence. A few ways in which you can remain engaged are interacting with your clients by commenting on posts, starting and participating in conversations, sharing relevant information, tagging your followers, and most importantly showing appreciation for your customers. Adding a personal touch to your business page is also great idea. Show your clients a glimpse of your personal side. Last but not least, enjoy it and make it your own!
