Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Marchell Sade. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Marchell, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea?

After over 10 years + and continuing of much success in the Real Estate industry, from helping people into their dreams homes, improving communities through renovations and investing to providing housing. My mom Real Estate broker since 1999 introduced me into the Real Estate industry while attending North Atlanta high school of preforming arts, where I discovered my passion for acting and dance. I didn’t want to struggle financially while working my way into the Hollywood film industry, so for many years Real Estate financially supported my acting career and along the way helped me to be able to invest in myself so I could be able to fulfill my purpose through all my many gifts and talents. After many years of real estate experience, adding to my life was not only vulnerable but challenging for me to finally take the courage to conquer everything my heart desires, which is being an all around artist, dance and acting, while balancing the family oriented side of me as well. Launching LOHV Essentials 100% Vegan Skincare line not only opened up my creativity, it helped me to step into GOD’s calling and purpose over my life. Not only do I want to be known as a business professional, family oriented and loving mother but one that carries an uplifting joyful spirit 90% of the time. My goal is to carry a contagious spirit filled with so much light and pure love, uplifting as many people as I can. Throughout my healing journey which led me to starting LOHV Essentials I have learned that life is truly about figuring out what your soul purpose is in this lifetime and figuring out a way to touch as many people as you can with your purpose and gifts while you are here. And I figured out a way to do just that through LOHV Essentials. The “L” in LOHV stands for LOVE because everything that I do comes from a genuine place of pure Love, I do all things through and with Love, building a community that represents Love (Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.) The “O” in LOHV stands for Organic, all of LOHV ESSENTIALS products are formulated to ensure our safety while using each product therefore I chose ingredients that will help extend the youth of our skin. “H” represents healthy, our physical and mental health are also important factors to LOHV ESSENTIALS, I believe that what you put into your body shows on your skin and mood. While bringing mental, physical and love awareness to the world helping us to fall in love with who we are within, while helping skin to be healthy and youthful. Which brings me to the “V” in LOHV, being apart of the Vegan community and knowing the importance of what we put into and on our body and skin, it is important that I select 100% Vegan ingredients meaning none of our ingredients have been tested on animals making LOHV Essentials products Cruelty-Free.

The long days and sleepless nights of planning, researching, organizing, analyzing, making major decisions, years along side chemist, dermatologist esthetician and aesthetician selecting ingredients, building a solid team, investing time and money. It was like every time I thought I came to the finish line new obstacles popped up for me to overcome and I was determined to overcome them every time. The obstacles became so overwhelming that they began to delay the launch of LOHV ESSENTIALS for many years until I made the decision to just launch! My plan was to launch the Kombucha skincare collection first but I came into a major set back. The company that was initially making the packaging for the skincare collection after many months went by of designing the packaging I was led onto thinking they were being made when all along the company never was making the packaging. Therefore I had to start all over correct all the mistakes and have a brand new company make the packaging for LOHV ESSENTIALS Kombucha skincare collection which was going to hold up LOHV from launching a whole year, so to prevent from that happening I went ahead and launched LOHVessentials.com with the hygiene collection first. It was not my ideal way that I wanted to launch but everything end up working out because that gave me a chance to introduce LOHV ESSENTIALS to the world and prepare to release the kombucha skincare collection. I’m a perfectionist I wanted everything to be a certain way which was never going to be perfect enough for me, so yes! I had to force myself to launch, overall it worked out perfecting.

Throughout all the many obstacles of building LOHV ESSENTIALS, I have to remember the purpose of why I started LOHV ESSENTIALS and the strong influence that LOHV ESSENTIALS will have on the world. That is what keeps me continuing to grow the business because the purpose behind LOHV ESSENTIALS is bigger than me its about leaving a mark, making an impact in this world.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

After having my son at the age of 22, at the time I thought my life was over but little did I know it was just the beginning of the many accomplishments I needed to conquer.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

I didn’t want to struggle financially while working my way into Hollywood film industry so I decided to follow in my mothers foot steps buying and selling houses during and after graduating high school. Real Estate financially supported my acting career and along the way helped me to be able to invest in myself so I could be able to fulfill my life purpose and all my many gifts and talents.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn listening to everyone, many people are not going to understand your vision because your vision was not given to them for them to see nor understand. I had to make sure I stand firm on everything I believe and on the vision that was given to me and never allow anyone to take that from me. Another lesson I had to unlearn was that you can’t trust everybody, growing up I was taught to never trust anyone. Growing my business allowed me to see otherwise, I believe you should definitely have discernment in everything you do. I’ve learned that mostly strangers are the ones who helped me get my business started to making sales so I say use discernment when allowing people into your business and life.
