Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Adam Meskouri. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Adam, thanks for joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?

I’ve always been enthralled by public speaking, but I never knew how to get started in the content creation / marketing space. Eventually, I decided to start offering my services for free–by building a network and making a name for myself, I was eventually able to use those references as a way to kickstart my brand’s credibility.

Adam, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Adam Meskouri :)

I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan and my brand is Showgo Applications. We specialize in digital marketing, PR/brand optics, and social media growth/monetization. Showgo has had the privilege of previously managing around 5M social media followers across multiple pages–we’ve also been able to work with over 200 amazing brands and creators!

Our brand runs on Gen Z advisors, consultants, and creators–with algorithmic knowledge that stems from all of us constantly being online, we’re able to provide targeted & optimized services to new clients.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

As a full-time student, I knew that I would inevitably have to find an industry which didn’t require an absurd amount of VC investment or finances. Social media, to me, represented an opportunity to reach millions of people with 0 marketing costs. I was then able to accomplish that goal through multi-platform niche pages.

We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.

I’ve had multiple partners, but all of them began as my bosses. When I was just starting in the industry, I understood that I needed to get into positions of power by starting at the bottom. By offering free services, I was able to work above projects that were far above my pay grade–eventually, I ended up becoming a partner.
