Alright, Vincent B. thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
The story behind my mission is to give a platform to other big boys in the fashion industry who feel like they are not seen or heard, I also feel like big boys aren’t celebrated enough because of our bodies and often pushed to the back. I feel like we should help each other and strive to take over the fashion industry, because to me, no matter what you wear , your clothes should speak for you! I say, “ Always extend a hand and teach others like you the knowledge you’ve gained.”

Hi world , my name is Duane Jones , but I go by Vincent B. Scott on all social media platforms. I am a celebrity stylist, big boy influencer , party host , and creator of Mock Magazine now known as Kxcky Magazine, where I create my own magazine covers. I am from a small town called Anderson located in the great state of Indiana . I was raised my my lovely mother alongside my 3 siblings. I’ve always had a love for fashion and was inspired my mom , aunts and grandmothers. I knew in my heart that working a regular 9-5 job was not for me and I wanted to do something I loved that did not feel like work.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Consistency, Consistency and Consistency!! You have to make sure your consistent with everything you say or do! There will be days where you feel like giving up , but PLEASE don’t give up! Always remember why you started and where you wanna finish.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I’ll do what’s called “ client check-ups” I’ll email or call my clients and see how things are going because someone always has an event or needs to be styled
