We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Prophecy UT a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Prophecy, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Everyday for me is a risk when it comes to the amount of time and energy I put into my craft. As a single parent , working full time , being a full time father, and pursuing a music career weighs me down heavily along with expectations that I have meet on a daily. When my music allows me to replace my daily job I know that many new risks will come about and many life changing decisions will arise. Im ready for the leap as I continue to speak on relatable topics of what we go through on a daily.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect an an artist for me is to see people relate to my music. The vast majority of the music I create is real life topics, things that happen to people everyday. I hope to make a great impact in peoples lives with the music I’ve created and continue to release.
Have you ever had to pivot?
Going through divorce and becoming a single parent made me have to rethink my gameplan and made me really think about what was important to me in my life. I would do anything for my children, I even stopped making music for a few years and realized that in my life I felt a large hollow spot when I didn’t create. Im an artist , its what I do , and even my children can see the passion I have as an artist. My children need to know they are the reason I keep going , and that’s exactly what I’m doing!
