Brandon, appreciate you joining us today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?

While I am happy as a business owner, I truly do find it difficult to be self employed. Now running a Enterprises of multiple companies with few employees, an some volunteers is hard to manage. Thankfully I have a Human Resources/Email Manager now to help me run my now active almost conglomerate.

Two rules I learned from business management is always make sure the customer is the number #1 priority, & if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

I have always thought of just getting a regular job, my resume is quite extensive. However I feel like I would have sacrificed years of countless days & nights of hard work if I allowed myself to just one job or a 9 to 5.

The biggest struggle is people’s opinions about my job. You have to take the negative with the bad & turn it into a positive.

If times get rough, I still humble myself to go out & get a regular job. However Thankfully due to growth, it almost never crosses my mind.

Brandon, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

13 Years in Marketing & Promotion. I have a Associates Degree in I.T. Networking with a focus in Web Design, An a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. I am Owner of Crew Marketing Promotions & Crew Enterprises, a Umbrella Corporation incorporating other entities an affiliates such as CECS (Crew Enterprises Commercial Studio) specializing in high end photography, film, & modeling acts, including CECS Film & Distribution.
Based in the Midwestern U.S. , I’m a independent business owner an entrepreneur, I believe there is nothing you can’t do with the right encouragement & mindset.

A Jack of all trades. Most notably known for Crew Marketing Promotions within the music industry along with independent business promotion ranging from a multitude of businesses including: Grid Magazine
I’ve worked with hundreds of Artists over the years ranging from Brotha Lynch Hung of both Strange Music Inc & his label: Madesicc Muzik, Artist Manager for C-LIM with C-walk Music &, making a name for myself with his mixtape saga, including helping him build a custom mask creation/products company: Cuzzalo Ink an handling the clerical paperwork side of the business including marketing an general customer inquiries.
Ive managed a dozen Artists portfolios over the years including: “Street Team Creation & Management”, artist features, marketing & booking. Some notable acts would include: “Uno & SC”

Over 13 years I’ve hosted a mixtape series called The Underground Takeover Mixtape Series, Which was a various artists mixtape release platform, showcasing different artists an their musical releases. The Mixtape Series would then eventually influence an turn into its own independent label in preparation for releasing a new volume in the series.

I’m Most known for working with Strange Music Associated Artist Acts, including but not limited to: Skatterman, Kutt Calhoun, Stevie Stone, an Cognito to name a few, Promoting their music singles, projects, an future releases after those artists would venture out on their own from the Strange Music Inc record label, of which most had or was in the process of creating their own entertainment brands and music labels.

I was on the Strange Street Team back in 2010-2011, then joined again back in Aug 2021 on the (Wichita KS street team an specialize in voluntarily sharing their digital advertising via social media.)

2020 to Current I Manage Cognito with Anarchy Nation Music Group with Music Feature Requests & his head Street Team manager for his Independent label.
I was also with Stevie Stone’s street team before he signed to Strange Music during his Himmi Hyme Mixtape Series days, currently on his Ahdasee Street Team as a State Lead from January 2022 thru May 2022 volunteering my associated skills from time to time to further progress Ahdasee an help Team Ahdasee & Stone out with specific requests, goals and marketing projects. Moreover managing Stevie Stone’s Official Website an help in conjunction with advertising for his 2022 Tour.

Currently my primary focus is running Crew Enterprises a Umbrella Company of different smaller affiliate companies from Crew Enterprises Commercial Studio, Crew Marketing Promotions an the more recently announced Naughty Hottiez Inc, a premiere adult entertainment company.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

A real life lesson I had to learn the hard way would be to decipher the difference between Personal friendships & Professional Business Relationships.

The lines can really blur, an it can cost you financially if things go wrong, but in the end their both needed to succeed.

It’s a balancing act that everyone should learn & appreciate.

For personal reasons I can not divulge a back story. I have appreciation still for the relationships that taught me this hard lesson.

Yes, Crew Marketing Promotions was in a financial constraint an suffering in 2014/15. At this point I realized I had to pivot an change my business model an learn new tools an be able to offer more services than I did. Hence forth Crew Enterprises was signed into creation & born. Offering:
