We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Shonae “Naina” Morgan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Shonae “Naina” below.
Shonae “Naina”, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Day to day the world can seem like a tough place, but there’s also so much kindness in the world and we think talking about that kindness helps spread it and make the world a nicer, kinder place. Can you share a story of a time when someone did something really kind for you?
The kindest thing someone has ever done for me was believe in me when I didn’t believe in myself!
People seen things in me that I didn’t see & motivated me to push myself for greatness.
I was given a platform and knowledgeable advice which I took in & put actions towards..
Now I am in a way better predicament than I ever was !
Shoutout to them <5
Shonae “Naina”, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Im Nae, I run the5hop on Etsy. I am a digital marketer and Brand Ambassador. I make flyers, business cards, templates and much more. I also provide services to help businesses promote their brands by being a model, a paid promoter, social media influencer and assistant with anything the business needs as far as marketing.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
To be completely transparent, so many times I had wanted to give up completely because I would take on so many things & be overwhelmed because of how ambitious I am.
I recently loss my twin brother last year in January and completely fell off because I was in the beginning stage of grieving but I had to remember his words to me which were “if I don’t make it, you have too” !
So, I had to get up and keep it going for him, for me and my future.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to learn was that not everything is going to be easy to come by and it will not happen overnight. The key is consistency.
You have to get up and get to your business everyday like a 9-5p to chase your dreams.
I used to give somebody else’s business my all vs my own and I had to unlearn that by spending more time on me & my craft so that my business is as big as other marketing companies!
