We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ahmady Barron. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ahmad below.
Ahmady, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
Growing up listening to a variety of music led to me mimicking the artist that was the most influential. I began performing in front of my family, friends and my peers at school. Eventually I started writing all of my songs. Me and my friends created a group in the 5th grade in our after school program. Although it was a total of 4 members, I was the designated writer. In my mind, I was probably the only one that was serious about the success of the group. I would love to provide the name of our awesome squad, however the funny thing is we never could agree on a name. So it was definitely short lived. From this moment on I knew that this would be my artistic path.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I go by Ahmady, I am an artist. I have been musically inclined since a toddler. I recently signed to Intersection Music Group which is my first professional step into the industry. Ahmady is a creative artist. What sets me apart from others is the fact that I can only be me, myself and I. I am one of a kind. So, when I incorporate that mindset in my creations, artistry, and honestly just my everyday life I start to realize that I’m not like anyone else and no one else is like me. That’s what excites me the most. I love the fact that I can display MYSELF through my craft. I am most proud of the fact that I am comfortable within my own skin and from this hopefully it will inspire others to feel the same about themselves.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Witnessing the feeling and the reaction of the people once they experience my art, whether its live performances or listening to my music is the most rewarding for me. Each song has a different meaning to someone and it touches others differently.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I am a fan of NFT’s, I think it is a stepping stone for technology and art. It is definitely rising in popularity, it seems like almost everything digital is a NFT, or could be one. Celebrities, influencers, and creators are using this format as an opportunity to sell and broadcast their art in forms other than physical copies.
