We were lucky to catch up with Tyler Cobillas recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tyler, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
Back in 2018, I first started my first lyric video with the intent of helping artists have creative and engaging visuals. I wasn’t sure what I was looking to do with my career, but at the time this avenue seemed interesting. I was able to then create my first company TC Media that year of 2018 and since then until now have continued to create lyric videos and visuals for bands spanning across multiple genres. It’s been a long road, but at some point I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Being able to put my creativity into something tangible has always been the goal, of expressing my inner being through works of art.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Tyler Cobillas and I am the owner of Cobillas Creative. I got into my craft simply by being a musician myself and having gotten services done by other creatives in the industry and felt it was really neat. I create lylric videos, visualizers, and more for bands/musicians as well as things, such as promos for businesses.
If you have a creative idea, it is my goal to bring that vision to life. I’m most proud of some of the work I’ve most recently been doing and am excited for a lot of it to come out in the following months. Cobillas Creative’s goal is to put forth the utmost effort into creating a visual masterpiece, with your idea in mind.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
What society can do best to support artists is to even do small things. Share a post, hit a like button, something as small as even just admiring another’s work and giving them appreciation goes a long way. Go to a show, go to an art gallery, anything helps artists thrive and create more when positivity is the main factor.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
While I do not have much of a presence on social media, I’m doing what I can do continually push myself. I have a lot of learning to do when it comes to marketing and managing my business, but I look forward to the hurdles and challenges that come with growing.
