Whitney, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
One of the biggest risks I’ve taken didn’t look dramatic on the outside, but it completely changed the direction of my life.
I decided to bet on myself.
At the time, I was juggling motherhood, responsibilities at home, and trying to figure out who I was outside of being “just busy.” I kept seeing content creators and UGC (user-generated content) online and thought, I could do that. But the reality was. I had no blueprint, no connections, and honestly, no guarantee it would work. It felt risky to even try. Putting yourself out there publicly, reaching out to brands, hearing “no” (or worse, getting ignored)… it’s uncomfortable.
But something in me knew staying where I was comfortable but unfulfilled was a bigger risk.
So I started anyway.
I filmed content with what I had. I pitched brands that had no idea who I was. I showed up online before I felt “ready.” There were moments I questioned myself… wondering if I was wasting time or if I’d ever actually turn this into something real. But I kept going, even when it felt slow, even when the growth wasn’t instant.
And then things started to shift.
Brands began responding. Small opportunities turned into paid collaborations. Those turned into bigger partnerships. I built relationships, gained confidence, and proved to myself that I could create something from nothing.

Now, I’m not just someone who took a chance. I’m someone who built a lane for myself.
That risk taught me that growth doesn’t come from waiting until you’re ready. It comes from starting scared, showing up anyway, and trusting that consistency will meet you on the other side.
Looking back, the risk wasn’t just stepping into content creation… it was choosing to believe I was capable of more. And that decision changed everything.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I’m a Florida-based UGC creator, mom to two, wifey and content strategist who turned everyday life into a creative business. I got into UGC by simply starting filming products at home, learning what works, and consistently showing up even before I felt fully confident. What began as a side idea quickly turned into working with major brands like Target, Walmart, CVS, and more.
I specialize in creating relatable, high-converting content that feels natural not overly scripted or salesy. My content blends real life with storytelling, which helps brands connect with their audience in a more authentic way. Whether it’s lifestyle, beauty, or family-focused products, I focus on making content that actually performs, not just looks good.
What sets me apart is my ability to understand both sides. I’m not just a creator, I’m a consumer and a busy mom. I know what catches attention, what builds trust, and what makes someone stop scrolling and actually buy.
I’m most proud of building this from the ground up while balancing motherhood. It’s proof that you don’t need a huge following to make an impact… you need consistency, creativity, and the willingness to start.
I want brands and followers to know that when you work with me, you’re getting content that’s real, intentional, and created to convert, not just fill a feed.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my journey came when I first stepped into influencing and marketing. In the beginning, I thought the goal was to grow a big following, be seen, and build a name for myself online, because that’s what it looked like everyone else was doing.
But pretty quickly, I realized that wasn’t actually what I wanted.
I’ve never been someone who craves the spotlight… in fact, I tend to run the other way from it. The idea of being “known” or constantly in front of an audience didn’t feel aligned with who I am or the life I wanted to build. What I did know was that I wanted to create a steady income while being present at home with my babies.
That realization is what led me to pivot into UGC.
Instead of focusing on building a personal brand for attention, I focused on creating content that helps brands grow. I shifted from “being the face” to being the creative behind the scenes, producing relatable, authentic content that performs without needing millions of followers attached to it.
That pivot changed everything. It allowed me to build a business that fits my lifestyle, not the other way around. Now, I get to do meaningful work, partner with brands, and still be fully present in my everyday life as a mom, which was the goal all along.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience by simply showing up as myself. As a wife, mom, and content creator, I started sharing our everyday life. the highs, the chaos, the funny moments, and everything in between. Instead of trying to be perfect, I focused on being relatable and creating content that people could connect with. Over time, consistency and authenticity helped me build a community that genuinely enjoys following our journey.
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is to stop waiting for everything to be perfect. Post the video, share the story, and be yourself. Consistency will always beat perfection. Find your niche, engage with your audience, and remember that every creator starts at zero. Focus on building relationships, not just followers, and the growth will come. 💕📱✨
