Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gabriel Harrison. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gabriel, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?
At first I was doing a lot of this work for free and no pay, spending a lot of money with little to no return. That ran for about 3 years with on and off pay, then around year 4, a production company I was working with here offered me a full time job, and it has been history from there. I dont think I could have gone a faster route, especially being In the area that I’m in. We literally had to build the market from the ground up for us to have something to survive off of, so in reality the way we went was the way that had been to be taken, with consistency and perseverance.

Gabriel, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Getting into the industry was something I always felt I would do, I just never know how to untill I knew how to lol. It’s an interesting industry the entertainment industry, the only way in is by getting on the bus and not worrying about where it’s going, cause you will find yourself in places you never thought you would be in. Production rentals is what got my foot in the door, and then worked my way into working LED screens and gaining the title of video technician. That craft is what pays my bills and is the job I hold with Future Astronaut co. My true passion, and what I’m pushing to be known for is my music along with my live Video and Audio performances, this is where I’m known as Lost Wandering. When it comes to the problems I solve for my clients, that really depends on what I’m hired for, for video work, I build operate, diagnose, and fix LED screens, along with live video camera feeds. As a producer/performer, I provide and environment that helps the human experience expand and stimulate itself through a video and audio experience. Allowing the consumer to experience life on a more heightened awareness. What sets me apart I feel is my drive and passion for what I’m involved with. I really do poor my heart and soul into my crafts. I’m definitely most proud of my work ethic and problem solving capabilities in high stress environments. What I’d want people to know most about my brand is that my goal to to create space for connection through movement, color, and sound.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The joy and appreciation from fans, it’s is the most fulfilling part of it all. The thankfulness they show you is just like nothing else.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Only goal I have in all this is to stay consistent in creation. It brings me complete joy to create something and present it to an audience. I’d also say I do a lot of this to inspire others to create something they enjoy, and to share it with the world.
