Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brett Scott. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Brett thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
If I could go back in time, there was a period where I wished I had started my business sooner. But with the wisdom I have today, I genuinely believe I started exactly when I was meant to.
Before becoming a coach, mentor, speaker and business owner, I had built a successful career across multiple industries. I worked in real estate, fitness, business coaching and sales leadership roles. From the outside, life looked pretty good. Yet beneath the surface, there were moments that challenged me deeply and forced me to question who I was, what success truly meant, and what impact I wanted to have on the world.
One of the most defining moments came in 2014 when I found myself facing a situation that left me emotionally broken. It was the first time in my adult life I remember crying uncontrollably and questioning everything. Looking back, that moment became the catalyst for a four-year journey of personal development, self-discovery and transformation. It led me to mentors such as Bob Proctor, introduced me to mindset work, and ultimately changed the trajectory of my life.
I officially started my coaching business around seven years ago, but in many ways, the foundations were being built long before that. Every career, every challenge, every setback and every success became part of the knowledge and experience I now draw upon to help others.
Had I started earlier, I may have lacked the life experience, emotional intelligence and depth of understanding that allows me to create meaningful transformation today. I wouldn’t have had the same stories, lessons or empathy that come from living through adversity and rebuilding yourself from the inside out.
Could I have started later? Absolutely. But I think I would have delayed stepping into the work I was truly meant to do. I would have postponed the opportunity to impact thousands of lives, speak on stages, deliver a TEDx talk, win industry awards, write a book, and most importantly, help people transform their identity, mindset and future.
So while there were times I wished I had started sooner, today my answer is simple: I started at exactly the right time. Every experience leading up to it prepared me for the mission I now feel privileged to live every day.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Brett D. Scott, and I am a Metaphysical Mindset Mentor, Mind Concierge, Success Alchemist, Speaker, Author, MC, and founder of Super-Charged Freedom.
At my core, I help people transform from the inside out. While many coaches focus on strategy, I focus on identity. Because in my experience, lasting success isn’t determined by what you do; it’s determined by who you believe you are.
My journey into this work wasn’t a straight path. Before becoming a coach and mentor, I built successful careers across multiple industries, including real estate, fitness, sales leadership, and business coaching. Along the way I achieved significant success, yet I also experienced some of the darkest moments of my life.
A defining turning point came in 2014 when I found myself facing circumstances that left me emotionally shattered and questioning everything. That experience became the catalyst for a profound personal transformation. Determined never to feel that powerless again, I immersed myself in personal development, mindset mastery, neuroscience, metaphysics, subconscious reprogramming, and human behaviour. I was mentored by some of the world’s leading experts, including Bob Proctor, and spent years studying why some people achieve extraordinary success while others remain stuck despite their talent and effort.
What I discovered was that success, fulfilment and freedom are rarely an information problem. Most people already know what they should do. The challenge is that their identity, beliefs, conditioning and subconscious programming often prevent them from taking consistent action or receiving the outcomes they truly desire.
Today, through my coaching, mentoring programs, speaking engagements and transformational experiences, I help people upgrade their identity, eliminate self-sabotaging patterns, reconnect with their purpose, and create meaningful breakthroughs in business, career, relationships, health and life.
My clients include business owners, executives, professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs and individuals seeking greater clarity, confidence, impact, income, freedom and fulfilment. Some have dramatically increased their income, others have launched businesses, improved relationships, found their purpose, overcome personal challenges, or created breakthroughs they previously thought impossible.
What sets me apart is my unique combination of practical business experience, deep mindset expertise, metaphysical principles, neuroscience, subconscious reprogramming and genuine care for the people I work with. I don’t simply teach concepts. I walk alongside my clients, helping them create real-world transformation and sustainable results.
I am also known for providing a level of support, accountability and belief in my clients that many have never experienced before. My goal is never to create dependence; it is to help people become the most powerful, authentic version of themselves.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of delivering a TEDx talk, publishing an award-winning book, speaking on stages throughout Australia and internationally, emceeing major events, and receiving recognition through multiple business and coaching awards. While I am grateful for those achievements, they are not what I am most proud of.
What I am most proud of is the ripple effect of transformation. Watching someone reclaim their confidence, rebuild their life, create financial freedom, strengthen their family, launch a dream business, or step fully into who they were born to be is what drives me every day.
If there is one thing I would like people to know about me and my brand, it is this: I genuinely believe every person has extraordinary potential within them. Sometimes they simply need the right environment, guidance, support and belief to unlock it.
My mission is to positively impact millions of lives by helping people break free from the limitations of their past, expand into their highest potential, and create their own version of success, fulfilment and freedom.
Because when one person transforms, the impact extends far beyond them. It ripples through families, businesses, communities and future generations. That is the work I feel called to do, and it is a privilege I never take for granted.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the greatest examples of resilience in my life occurred in 2014.
At the time, I was living in Noosa, had a baby on the way after years of trying, and from the outside life looked pretty good. I had enjoyed success throughout my career and believed I was on the right path.
Then I received a phone call that changed everything.
A financial issue involving invoices over an extended period left me facing a situation that felt overwhelming and completely out of my control. In that moment, the future I had imagined for myself and my family seemed to disappear.
For the first time in my adult life, I broke down.
I remember sitting alone, crying uncontrollably and feeling a level of fear and uncertainty I had never experienced before. My mind went to dark places, and for a brief moment I questioned whether life was worth continuing.
Thankfully, that moment didn’t become the end of my story.
Instead, it became the beginning of a completely different one.
Sitting there, I made a decision. I promised myself that I would never again allow my circumstances to have that level of control over my thoughts, emotions or future. I became obsessed with understanding human behaviour, mindset, success, resilience and personal transformation.
That decision led me on a four-year journey of intensive personal development. I invested heavily in learning from some of the world’s leading mentors, including Bob Proctor. I studied neuroscience, metaphysics, subconscious programming, leadership and human potential.
What began as a search for answers eventually became my life’s work.
Today, I have built a business helping others overcome limitations, break through self-sabotage and create meaningful transformation in their own lives. I’ve had the privilege of delivering a TEDx talk, writing an award-winning book, speaking on stages, mentoring clients around the world and witnessing extraordinary breakthroughs in others.
Looking back, I would never wish that experience upon anyone. Yet I am grateful for it.
Because resilience isn’t about avoiding adversity.
It’s about choosing who you become because of it.
That experience taught me that our greatest challenges often contain the seeds of our greatest purpose. Had I not gone through that difficult chapter, I doubt I would be doing the work I am so passionate about today.
What once felt like my breaking point became the foundation upon which I rebuilt my life.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
My social media journey has been far from perfect, and perhaps that’s exactly why it has taught me so much.
Unlike many people who build large audiences through viral content or paid advertising, my audience has primarily been built through genuine connection, community and consistently showing up as myself.
When I started my business, I didn’t have a massive following, a sophisticated marketing strategy, or a team behind me.
What I did have was a passion for helping people and a willingness to share my journey openly. I focused on creating content that inspired, educated and challenged people to think differently about their lives, mindset and potential.
Over time, that consistency began to compound. I built relationships through social media, networking events, podcasts, speaking engagements, Facebook groups and one-on-one conversations. Many of my clients, referrals and opportunities came not from having the largest audience, but from having an engaged audience that trusted me.
One of the biggest lessons came when my social media accounts were hacked and effectively wiped out. Years of content, connections and momentum disappeared almost overnight. It would have been easy to become frustrated and walk away.
Instead, I chose to see it as an opportunity to rebuild.
What that experience taught me was incredibly valuable. The true asset wasn’t the followers. The true asset was the reputation, relationships and impact I had created. Many people found their way back because they connected with me, not because of an algorithm.
Today, I continue to build my audience through authenticity, storytelling, speaking opportunities, podcast appearances, strategic collaborations and creating content that reflects who I genuinely am. Sometimes that’s professional, sometimes it’s vulnerable, and sometimes it’s me showing up as one of my quirky characters to deliver a message in a memorable way.
For anyone just starting out on social media, my advice is simple:
Don’t focus on becoming famous. Focus on becoming valuable.
Too many people become obsessed with follower counts, likes and views. While those metrics can be useful, they don’t necessarily translate into trust, impact or business success.
Show up consistently. Be authentic. Share your experiences. Don’t be afraid to let people see the human behind the brand. Speak to the people you want to help rather than trying to please everyone.
Most importantly, remember that every successful creator, business owner or influencer started with zero followers at some point. The people who succeed are rarely the most talented. They are often the ones who continue showing up long after others have given up.
Social media is ultimately about connection. If you focus on serving people, building relationships and creating genuine value, the audience will follow.
