We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Bethany Bryan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Bethany below.
Alright, Bethany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
One of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer is that our clients often become more like friends by the end of their wedding day. The best example of customer appreciation wasn’t actually something expensive or elaborate. It was simply being present.
I had a bride who was overwhelmed on her wedding day. The timeline was running behind, family members were pulling her in every direction, and she was struggling to stay in the moment. Before I picked up my camera, I sat beside her, helped her take a breath, fixed her veil, and reminded her that she was marrying the love of her life and that everything else was just details.
For the rest of the day, my team and I did everything we could to make things easier. We carried dresses, tracked down missing family members, fixed boutonnières, grabbed water, and helped keep the day moving smoothly. None of those things were technically in our contract, but they mattered.
A few weeks later, she told me that while she loved her photos, what she remembered most was how supported and cared for she felt throughout the day.
That stuck with me.
As photographers, we’re hired to deliver images. But the real impact comes from how people feel while they’re making those memories. If a couple looks back on their wedding day and remembers feeling seen, valued, and genuinely cared for, then we’ve done our job well.
That’s the kind of experience we strive to create with every BEBO couple. We don’t just document wedding days. We become part of them.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Photography started as a creative outlet, but it eventually became something much bigger. In 2013, I founded BEBO with a simple goal: to create images that help people remember not just how a moment looked, but how it felt.
What many people don’t know is that my journey into this industry was shaped by my own fight for life. I live with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease that at one point left me weighing barely 70 pounds and struggling to breathe. There were years when I genuinely wasn’t sure how much time I had left. During that season, I developed a deep appreciation for memories, relationships, and the stories that make up a life. Thankfully, I made it past death and into this amazing life I have, where I literally freeze time for my clients. That perspective completely changed the way I approach photography and filmmaking.
Today, BEBO specializes in wedding photography and videography, portraits, branding sessions, and special events. While we create beautiful images, our real purpose is to preserve stories. We help couples relive the most important day of their lives, help businesses connect with their audiences through authentic branding, and help families hold onto moments that pass far too quickly. What sets us apart is that we don’t see ourselves as vendors. We become part of the experience.
Our clients often tell us that one of the reasons they chose BEBO is because we feel approachable, genuine, and invested. We laugh with our couples, celebrate with them, and often leave a wedding feeling like we’ve gained new friends. We believe professionalism and personality can coexist. Some of our favorite moments happen when a bride is showing us her dress for the first time, a groom is sharing his nerves before the ceremony, or a family is experiencing a meaningful moment together.
Our style is cinematic, documentary, emotional, and story-driven. Every wedding is approached like a feature film. Every portrait session is designed to showcase the unique personality of the person in front of the camera. We focus on authentic moments over stiff poses and real connection over perfection. Over the years, BEBO has grown into an award-winning brand recognized for excellence in photography and storytelling. We are proud members of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and our work has been trusted by hundreds of families, couples, and businesses throughout Florida and beyond.
However, the achievement I am most proud of has nothing to do with awards. I am most proud that, after everything I have been through, I am still here, creating with the amazing team I love so much. I get to spend my days preserving moments for other people while living a life I once wasn’t sure I would have the chance to experience myself.
If there is one thing I want people to know about BEBO, it’s this:
We believe every person has a story worth remembering. Whether it’s a wedding day, a business milestone, a family portrait, or a personal journey, we approach every session with gratitude, intention, and heart. We aren’t just creating photographs and films. We are creating future memories. Because one day, those moments become priceless.

How’d you meet your business partner?
One of my favorite parts of the BEBO story is that it truly started as a family dream.
My business partner is my younger sister, Tearsa. Long before she officially joined the company, she was the person I could always count on. Growing up, we were incredibly close despite being eight years apart. As sisters, we’ve shared everything from life’s biggest challenges to its greatest victories.
When I started BEBO in 2013, it was largely a one-woman operation fueled by passion, determination, and a camera. Over the years, as the business grew, I found myself needing someone I could trust completely. Not just someone who could do the job, but someone who genuinely cared about people the same way I did.
That person was Tearsa.
She began helping me at weddings and quickly became a natural. Clients loved her energy, her kindness, and her ability to make people feel comfortable. What started as helping her big sister soon evolved into a true partnership.
Today, we work side by side serving couples, businesses, and families throughout Florida. While our personalities are different in many ways, that’s actually one of our greatest strengths. We balance each other well. We can communicate without saying much at all, anticipate each other’s needs on wedding days, and work seamlessly as a team.
One of the most rewarding parts of building BEBO has been getting to build it with family. Not everyone gets the opportunity to create something meaningful with a sibling, and I never take that for granted.
Our clients often tell us they can feel the family dynamic when they work with us. There’s a comfort and authenticity that comes from two sisters genuinely enjoying what they do and genuinely caring about the people they serve.
At the end of the day, BEBO is more than a photography and videography company. It’s a family-built business rooted in trust, creativity, and the belief that life’s most important moments deserve to be remembered.
Getting to share that journey with my little sister has been one of the greatest gifts of all.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
One of the things we focus on most at BEBO is creating genuine relationships rather than simply completing transactions. We want our clients to feel like they have a team in their corner throughout the entire experience, whether they’re planning a wedding, celebrating a growing family, or building a business.
Communication plays a huge role in that. We maintain an open line of communication throughout the planning process, checking in regularly, answering questions, and making sure our clients feel supported every step of the way. Many of our couples tell us they appreciate how approachable and responsive we are during what can often be a stressful season of life.
After a session or wedding, our relationship doesn’t end. We stay connected through social media, celebrate milestones alongside our clients, share sneak peeks quickly, and continue cheering them on long after their gallery has been delivered. It is not uncommon for wedding clients to come back to us years later for maternity sessions, newborn photos, family portraits, and even branding work for their businesses.
We also believe in giving back to our community. Events like our annual Woman Bold & Beautiful experience allow us to celebrate and uplift women while creating meaningful connections that extend far beyond photography. Those experiences help people understand that our brand is built on relationships, not just images.
At the heart of it all, people remain loyal to brands that make them feel seen, valued, and appreciated. We strive to create an experience where every client feels important, every story matters, and every milestone is worth celebrating.
When someone chooses BEBO, our goal is not to become their photographer for a day. Our goal is to become their photographer for life.
