We were lucky to catch up with Nevik Wright recently and have shared our conversation below.

Nevik, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

This project was so meaningful I work on in 2025 the project took a year for me to mix and write record and master This Album is called “7 Gods ” represent our spiritual journey Rising in energy this album ” is on all platforms

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

As a young boy growing up in Jamaica it was so secluded musical scene was tight and the new style i bring with an inspirational message because my style international style some of my own people never except me because of a wider view poit about unity love over hate I made dancehall pop style song in Jamaica to cross boundaries I dreamed of going over seas ,  to go to England from a opportunity I received i continue my international style like rap , dancehall fuse with Afrobeat the final transformation of my blending style of dancehall pop Afrobeat type style to represent my home coulter and my other style rap cause it fit perfectly in the uk so I continue i also learn to record myself and mixing my music , releasing music through agitators to get on the music stores Ever since I been doing better and better

I also released a album in 2025

I been doing music for 14 years now
Till I also learn about the music business
I also with music mentor like Carl who is a label owner from Chicago who help me well
I also received racial injustice because of some one attacking me in the club at a reggae event , after I get attacked first , the law in Scotland twist my justice , but I only keep my good formality and personality going no matter what , cause one moment couldn’t define my whole life time and my heart , some people who were there wickness me getting attacked,  never show no  any support properly.
